I needed a new clock to mount on the wall in my garage/work shop after my old clock died. Unfortunately I no longer possess the eagle vision that I remember having from my youth so I was looking for something that was easy to read from the opposite side of the garage. At the same time I didn't want something obnoxious that stood out like a disco light. Finally, to handicap my search even further I am also.. lets just say.. frugal. Needless to say I did not have the highest of hopes entering into this endeavor as I figured my requirements were all contradictory. So imagine my surprise when I discovered this clock!It is super easy to read because the digits are large and high contrast. It is not obnoxious because it dims itself if it is dark and brightens up when it is light so that the brightness is always the perfect mix of being easily visible without blinding you. The bezel is minimal so all you really see is the numbers making it even more able to blend into the background. Finally, it was reasonably priced. Even for a cheapskate like me I would consider this to be a very good value.As for things I don't like... There really isn't anything. Some people have complained in the comments that it is annoying that it has to always be plugged in. That is because this is a big LED display which would obliterate batteries in short order due to the minimal but continuous power draw. If you want a battery only clock you would have to go with an LCD clock which is much harder to read in low light conditions which is not what I was looking for. This clock simply uses a standard USB charger plug to operate so it is probably drawing less than 1 watt. It is not a power hog- it just isn't appropriate to run on batteries only.I have been super happy with this clock and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looks in person and how perfectly balanced the light output is. It was literally exactly what I was looking for. If you think this clock would work for your situation I would highly recommend you buy it. I very much doubt that you would be disappointed.I hope this helps!

The clock arrived on time and is exactly as described. The clock is simple but exactly what I was wanting. It's display is bright and easy to read. The additional fact that the brightness reduces automatically when the room darkens is a plus. Setup was very easy. The clock keeps accurate time. I am very pleased with this clock.

Best digital wall/table clock I ever owned. I love having a clock in each room. I had good experience with all analog wall clocks. However, digital wall clocks were getting repairs after few months. This is the only digital clock that is working perfectly after more than a year and accuracy is also impeccable. Good size for a medium to large room. Zero noise to my ears. Brightness automatically adjusts when I turn off lights. Looks are ok, AM/PM appears before the time. Has all necessary features I need including back up battery in case of power failure.I wish it has a color change option for the night.

I have had this clock for 4 months now. The numbers are big and easy to read. I do like the self adjusting brightness, however... when it goes to the brightest setting, I can hear the electrical buzzing. Also, if the lighting in my room isn't perfectly light or dark, the clock will flash between bright and dim. So not only is it flashing, it's also buzzing.

It’s great, super easy to read. The autodim seems to not bother me at all. I just wish it was battery operated only.

DIGITS ARE A "GENEROUS" 2 3/4" TALL and EASILY visible from across the room! Includes an 'auto-dimmer' to correct the digit light level as needed. SUPER EASY to set and comes with a 5 Volt USB supply and with a generous length cord too. This Clock also has an internal backup battery incase of power outages (during an outage the time is not displayed, but correct time is retained). Ample mounting hardware is also supplied, but the Clock is so light I used a 2" length of Velcro with no problems at all. Order with confidence.
