I use to be able to get these locally, but the store I got them at no longer sells them. These things are awesome. If you are sick of having the fabric thread ones break, or have the cover come up and jam up in the retractable reel part, leaving just a string line behind... TOSS IT OUT... get one of these.Also helpful for those who LOVE to pull out and snap back their badges. Mostly because 1) these don't break easily (they can, I've done it but it takes work), and 2) if they do break or you let go at a bad time the metal snapping against your hand hurts like heck and will break you of that snapping lanyard habit - I know from experience.I purchased extra so I have a small supply and I gave one to a co-worker who kept breaking his badge holder because it was the fabric line.

I tried using this for keys, lasted 2 days before metal case came apart. had to put tape on it. Screw on back gets loose, when tightened , the cable doesnt retract smoothly. Belt clip is ok, LOOP HOOK doesnt have enough slack . cable not long enough for KEY use. Maybe OK for badges.

These work perfect and have the right amount of length for holding a badge that you may need to retract out to swipe. Stays on really well and is just good for the job all around. Highly recommend, Hope that Helps.

Worked great for awhile, but after exactly 57 days of usage, it snapped on my belt lol. literally the entire thing busted out like a kid vomiting all over sunday church carpet. Was impressed with product until that happened. That was the chrome one, I have not used the black one, will start using tomorrow. keep posted for updated review. might changed.

Literally broke the second day I used it. Do not buy these key chains unless you have some fetish for wasting $10. I don’t judge, whatever does it for you.

Poor Quality.First one: Re-tractable line broke.Second one: Casing glue job was inadequate and it fell apart.Waste of money, Obviously would not recommend

I used this to replace a cheap string version i was given as a gift. Sadly the dental floss University of Texas badge holder lasted longer than both of the steel leaders i purchased here

I returned because I wanted a way to lock the pullout when I wanted to do so. I was looking for something in my purse to attach to a wallet to make sure I did not leave it places. Did not work for me. Otherwise the shipping/packaging fine.
