Got these a few months ago just to see if I would like it because I was craving a new hobby, and I can say I am hooked! The kit contained plenty of yarn for the two little frogs and then some, so a great value for money. It also had 2 hooks and plenty of stitch markers. Definitely use the practice string provided to try out the different stitches before you dive into the actual pattern, and watch the videos, they were very helpful whenever I got stuck and made the process extremely enjoyable. Once you get in the groove it's very relaxing too! I have since made hundreds of different little animals for my kids, their friends, their teachers, and even made up my own patterns for some of the requests! It's a wonderful creative outlet!

This was a gift for my 16-year-old niece for Christmas. She is crocheting bags and clothing, but this is the first time she has tried amigurumi animals. I chose the frogs because she can make them each uniquely different, they are darling, and this clever kit has everything she needs. I like this brand, I will be ordering from them again in the other darling critters they offer.

The kit is compact and comes with many useful items, including a stitch dictionary. The yarn colors seem true to the images, and the qty looks to be enough to complete the project. There’s even a length of practice yarn, which is helpful.However, there is almost information overload with the number of stitches to learn, and the terminology doesn’t always match what’s in the project instructions.As someone who’s done fewer than 40 hours of crocheting, I was able to chain basic stitches fairly easily, but struggled with anything more advanced, especially the round.I recommend having at least a basic knowledge of how most types of stitches are formed before trying this kit.

The instructions were a little confusing and YouTube videos are difficult to follow. I did my best and it came out to be the funniest looking duck. It was supposed to be a gift for my niece but I was too embarrassed.

So adorable! I'm fairly new to crocheting and I'd say this kit would be suitable for any skill level. It even comes with a booklet that provides helpful information. They also have video tutorials, which I admittedly didn't look at but I'm sure it would be a good resource if you get stuck on the pattern! My only complaint is that the provided tapestry needle was not smooth so the tip kept snagging on the yarn but I had my own (better) needles, so it's really only an issue if you don't have spares.

This was a nice set for my daughter who just started to learn to crochet. She is 12 and didn’t have too difficult of a time following the videos, although she found she needed more practice with technique and the tightness of the crochet to get the actual shape of the duck correct. So it did take her a few reworks but the instructions are pretty straightforward.
