Best of its kind!
I use these for tutoring math: 1's & 10's, counting, 3d shapes. Sturdy. Teaches conceptual math thinking.... & The kids love math they can feel.

A Must Have for Early Childhood Educators!
I have purchased these multiple times. The are a great manipulative for both math and literacy. For early learners, 1:1 correspondence, counting, addition and subtraction. For ELA I used them for phoneme isolation, syllabication, sentence dictation, and spelling features. I use a star on the black cube to represent silent letters and stacks to represent digraphs and trigraphs. They are a wonderful visual for students who are still in the concrete stages of learning.

Our 1 year old Grandson loves the "Numberblocks" TV show and loves these!
Our Grandson, who recently turned one, has been enthralled with the BBC Numberblocks show (available here in the US on Netflix) and just loves playing along with these number cubes --- as does our 3 year old Granddaughter.Playing along with these seems like a great way for a one year old to start down the path of number literacy and for a three year old to further explore her counting skills. These blocks are plentiful, colorful and fit together well -- our one year old can pull them apart with reasonable effort and is just now starting to fit them back together. We would not leave him unattended with the cubes, for safety concerns ,but the cube size is large enough that he does not seem to want to put them in his mouth (though a month or so ago he might have since pretty much everything was a candidate then!)

Great fun!
My kids love these! I may even get another set. They are very easy to build with, and the colors are bright and pleasant. They hold together well, but not so well that they are impossible to get apart. IF you're looking for something to replace lego, this isn't it, but if you want an easy manipulative to start teaching building basics or math, this is a good set.
