It was a pleasant surprise that this kit was diffrent than most non-LEGO kits in that it has all of it's pieces. Unfortunately, they were not seprated well. This is one of those kits where you are going digging through several bags for the right peice on each part of the build. The instructions are pretty bad, especially the legs/pants where the coloring is so dark you are going to have to take guesses. For the lower body I completed the legs and then just used what was left in a way that made sense. The kit did come with the option to change the color of the guitar from dark green to a lighter green, and light blue pieces that could be used for pockets or as a pickguard. Once the modle was completed and posed, it looked very nice in the studio. It is original looking and catches the eye, making for a nice conversation starter. This would easily be a five-star when/if the packaging and instructions are imporved.

This was very cool and it looks great! Instructions were easy to follow along with, a few of the photos in the instuctions were hard to see due to darker color green or blue pieces included in this set but I was still able to figure it out. It came with extra piece to change the color of the guitars body to a lighter shade of green as well, which was nice! Recommended.

So the instructions are super difficult to make out on his pants. They are dark blue and they sort of highlight the piece with a red outline, but it's still difficult to see. So, just know that the instructions aren't quite LEGO quality, but it's still a cool build and I enjoyed it.

It’s a neat, minimal build. Absolutely no objects secure to any other objects. The amp and chair do not secure to the floor, the pre-amp doesn’t fasten to the amp, the man’s feet do not fasten to the floor nor does is rear to the seat, the guitar does not fasten to the man. It’s an act of balance to set it all up and one good sneeze will cause is to fall over.But some super glue, glue it all in place! For a $15 display piece, why not!All pieces were accounted for. The instructions were okay though the legs were printed so dark it was very hard to see what you needed to do.3/5

What I really liked about thus building block model was the simplicity in design and the engineering concept behind the guitar player. I found that the blocks were nicely made, durable, made of a good quality ABS plastic. The blocks went together well and remained tight during the building process. I appreciated the well written instruction with the guided illustration ensuring me that I made the correct block selection during each step. I also like the color theme of the guitar player, his electric guitar, and the monitor. I did not see any defective blocks and they were free of plastic burrs. I appreciated this being a good quality and a great value for the money. Very satisfied.
