Wow its great it goes as fast as 20 mph on third ...
I have to say one word :Wow its great it goes as fast as 20 mph on third gear downhill.Sometimes I ride with my 7 years old daughter standing in the front and I stand behind she loves it.Its fast fun and beautiful and decent range .I just need to add a cute bell and a nice cup holder.I wish kka would sell a nice accessories for it.I will find nice stuff for it on Amazon.I just added a cup holder and mirror to my scooter. Thanks to Amazon I found something to fit the scooter also my cup holder acts as lock when I fold it it locks with my cup holder I could move it around without moving side to side.

... to get to and around a local lake I love to fish
I purchased this primarily to get to and around a local lake I love to fish. So far it has served me very well. The terrain I travel is asphalt and hilly. I weigh 140lbs and this thing will flat out fly and has no issues with hills. I run around the lake hitting a lot of spots quickly with little drain on the battery so far. I really have no idea how far it will go to date. But my other half also loves this thing and I suspect it will be getting a real workout this summer. We are very impressed with its construction, but it is a little on the heavy side if you had to be lugging it around for some distance. Our scales reads roughly 21 lbs.. I am somewhat concerned about getting parts should I need them as there does not appear to be a local supplier. As for the manual it's pretty bad. It would help a great deal if you or someone you know is familiar with the general operations of these electric scooters. We were not and it took us a good 4 hours to figure out all the functions. At which time we thought the scooter was defective but we just did not know how to operate it. The manual was little help and did nothing to tell us where we could get it. I may update this later.

Great Value
I really like this thing. Love the display showing speed, light on/off & battery power. This thing can really fly! I am about 200lbs and I’ve gotten up to 17mph on the flat in 3rd gear. Instruction manual sucks which is why it gets a 4 star instead of 5. Here’s the highlights that the instruction manual doesn’t really mention:- Right thumb lever down = accelerator, Left one is the brake- Works much better if you get the scooter moving then hit accelerator- The brakes can be pretty jolting so hold on and brake gradually- Press the power button once to turn the headlight on/off- Press the power button twice rapidly to switch gears. 1st tops out around 7mph, 2nd Around 12.5, 3rd will do 16.5-17mph.Haven’t really tried bigger hills but it does 9-10mph up smaller grades. I would expect about 5-6mph up steeper hills. This is my first scooter which I will be using for commuting from the ferry dock to my office. I haven’t had the opportunity to try it out for that yet but I have no doubts it will work just fine having tested it out around my neighborhood.

This is way too fun!
Too fun to ride. I Use this scooter to transport me from the house to the train station (and back) which is about 10-15 minutes walk from where I live and from the train to my job (another 15 mins walk) I weight 190lb and i got to say it rides really smooth (so far), what if I told you me and my girlfriend who’s 102lb were on it at the same time and it STILL had power to go relatively fast (8-11miles), however when there was a hill or any obstruction it would lose power to the point were I had to get off, it is to be expected and you can’t really say anything since it is not meant to take 2 people at once. overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and even when it’s not the best scooter out there I can say that SO FAR, it’s worth my money. I’ll give you an update once i spend more time riding it but so far it gets the job done, once again there is way more powerful and more reliable scooters out there but they cost way more and in my opinion, for what it is and for the price I think it’s worth the buck.

Speedy, Fun, Portable, and Slightly Dangerous.
This review is based off of the adventures of a 39yo, 5’10”, 173lb man.I recently visited Portland and discovered Bird scooters. I thought it was a fun way to get around, and when I returned home to Colorado I began my internet research for an affordable scooter that was comparable to the Bird scooters. The KKA IOHawk is what I landed on.First Impressions after 2 days of riding:It’s fast, portable, relatively well built, and charges fairly quickly in 2-3 hours.Bad news first:Although I feel that this product is well built, it’s hard to trust it 100%. The handlegrip on left side separated from the metal, so the grip itself turns freely over the metal. I tried to super glue it with no luck, it still turns. Also, the taillight fell off. I think it’s due to the placement as you basically step on it to brake. The tires seem small for the speed of the scooter. That could be dangerous if you hit a pothole or large bump. Braking takes time to learn. I found that if you sort of lean your weight back over the back tire and apply both breaks at the same time you will stop quickly. So basically, this scooter requires extra attention while operating because the speed seems too fast for the handling and design. I would not recommend this scooter for a kid just starting out.The Good Stuff:I think this scooter is faster than the Bird scooters I rode in Portland. If you look at my pics I have two screenshots from the Speedometer 55 app showing some stats. On a downhill the app recorded my max speed as 24.3 mph. I’m not sure how accurate the app is but I’m assuming I must have hit that speed. It’s pretty hilly here in Colorado so it wouldn’t surprise me. Max distance on a full charge was 7.55 Miles. This was on an intense 30+ min ride on hilly paved roads and concrete sidewalks. Average speed was 13.6 mph. Again, pretty good for hilly terrain. I love how portable this scooter is. I feel like it fits well into my car or apartment. The charging time is fair.Overall I am satisfied. I feel like the scooter leaves a few things to be desired but it makes up for it with speed and portability. I read some other reviews stating that the scooter slows down as the battery looses charge. Honestly, I didn’t notice that too much, I feel that it gives you ample power throughout the life of the charge. At this price point you may have a hard time finding a faster scooter, but if you do, more power to ya.
