I thought it didn’t work at first because when I plugged it in no sign came up on my MacBook Pro. So I tried it on my wife’s Mac and it worked and showed icons. The external drive work so it was my Mac. Not giving up I tried it again on my Mac and put a DVD in it even though there was nothing on my screen. Well that worked and we watched Carbaret. The drive works beautifully. Echoing an earlier reviewer, the disc must be ejected from the computer and not button on the drive.A beautiful external drive and I recommend it hence the five stars.

As others have said the tray can be a bit fiddly to open/close, you need two hands for everything due to its light weight, mine works ok though but probably not suitable for kids or people with sausage fingers.The description of multi-region is misleading as mine wouldn't play DVD's at first, i had to go into device manager and change region to 2 (can only change 5 times i think). Can be noisy when first inserting the disk but ok when playing.Have also burned a cd which worked fine.Overall built down to a price, feels a bit flimsy but all works ok, would need to be a bit careful when inserting/ejecting disks as it wouldn't take much abuse.

Well another fantastic product from oudekay I have bought this product due to their last product being very good and thought to give it a try, and boy was I surprised.After extensive testing through all this portable DVD players functions I have found it to do exactly everything that was promised, it is easy to use works on all of my devices and looks good what else could you possibly want.Price right? Well this was also a fair price as well so all in all a truly fantastic product. I also like the colours and design of the product it reminded me of like an space age item and I have to admit at first I thought green and silver together hmm maybe not the best combination, but it works so well.Sleek and lightweight design truly portable DVD player. Easy to take on holiday in the car or just at gome, but wait want to listen to a CD as well well it does that to and it rewrites discs as well I created several new CD of all my favourite songs just on one cd brilliant cant wait for more products

The product looks good but is very plasticly . The button to get the tray open is not very good and in most cases I have to use a paperclip.The read speed is good for this price range... The included cable is short 40cm end to end. So more for a Notebook than a desktop.It is for sure not as good as my Samsung drive...Update after intensive use the drive tray does not open using the front switch. I need now a paper clip to open the tray.. Sad it started so well..

?its not bad i have been testing it for about 5 days now and it holds up pritty good the thing is the box is amazing as shown by the vidoei mostly use this when i traval catch up on some movies its nice a sturdy the quality is ok its good gets the job done cd ejector is smoothapart from that therr is nothing much to sayif you need a dvd player its not a bad choice.BTW PROPER WEIRED COLOR FAM

Very happy with my new DVD CD drive. As I don't have it on my IMAC, this drive is very helpfull because it doesn't need any additional programm to be installed on my computer,just plug and do whatever you want. Lovely colour, slim, good quality build, not like a cheap ebay stuff. Got all my kids photos on dvd's now and I can write the dates, places and events the photos and videos been taken, unlike the small usb's, which are easy to get lost. Very easy,very happy. Will definetly recommend to a friends.

Very happy with this external DVD drive. I've been dealing with a nightmare trying to find on fully compatible with Windows 10 pro and all were failures and problems... since I found this!!! Highly recommended, simply PERFECT! Thanks so much.

In these modern days everything is Apps, so of course you brand new laptop doesn’t require a cd drive. This one takes its place and does Everything that a conventional drive would do, include cd/dvd writing. Brilliant.

Pues la compré en febrero y ahora en noviembre la he abierto la conecto a la tele y nada ,la conecto a la de mi cuarto y nada las dos con sistema Android, vamos la sorpresa es que voy a conectarla al ordenador y ni lo reconoce, el caso es que se enciende y se ve que el CD da vueltas, la compré por la marca ya que sus cargadores etc me han ido muy bien y sin problemas, pero ahora que la voy a necesitar por qué el anterior lector se ha jodió me encuentro que no sirve nada más que para tirarla, por mi parte no la recomiendo ya que veo por los comentarios, que hay gente que le va bien y a otra nada, entonces para que arriesgarse.... Lo 1ue me jode es que la pille para sustituir cuando se rompiera el antiguo y ahora tendré que pillar otro

Ho acquistato questo prodotto poiché nessuno dei miei notebook ha ormai più il lettore/ masterizzatore di DVD e reputo sia ancora un accessorio estremamamente necessario. Il pacchetto è arrivato prestissimo, il giorno dopo aver immesso l'ordine. Ho scelto questo prodotto per il design avveniristico e per le sue caratteristiche. Il prodotto viene fornito in un bel pacchetto che contiene il masterizzatore, il cavetto USB 3.0 che fornisce anche la tensione necessaria al suo funzionamento ed un breve manuale non in italiano ma c'è l'inglese. Una volta collegato al PC è stato immediatamente riconosciuto ed installato senza alcun problema. Ho provato ad utilizzarlo come lettore di CD/DVD anche con supporti vecchi ed ha funzionato benissimo. La cosa impressionante è la velocità in scrittura su DVD. Il prodotto è molto silenzioso. Ottimo acquisto, lo consiglio di cuore.

La scocca è in simil alluminio e ben protetta dai graffi con due strati plastica. Il lettore ha solo il pulsante di apertura e la porta usb sul retro.Il mio Mac l'ha riconosciuto subito, sia come lettore che come masterizzatore. Ogni tanto ho un problema di masterizzatore (problema 0x8002006E) ma ho visto su google che non è il lettore ma aimè il software mac :(.Il lettore è silenzioso e veloce

Es lo más básico de lo básico... Es solo lector y voy en día no merece la pena pagar lo que vale por un lector... Pero si lo que buscas es estética... Por lo que vale está genial... El acabado superior es de acero (no símil) y es bastante silenciosa... Por ponerle una pega e que es 3.0 pero viene con un cable 2.0... en realidad porque no le hace falta más... Pero vaya... Queda un poco raro... Lo mejor es que no hace apenas ruido y no cruje al cojerla... Se nota bien ensamblada.

Sulla parte superiore del lettore CD sono presenti dei graffi molto evidenti e ciò mi porta a pensare che sia stato usato.. comunque per ora funziona molto bene. Speriamo solo che duri nel tempo.Ho modificato la mia recensione da 3 stelle a 1 perché pensandoci anche se il prodotto funziona bene (usato per necessità una volta sola, quindi non so neanche se alla seconda funzionerà) mi sembra una presa in giro spacciare un prodotto per nuovo e poi ti arriva palesemente usato. Tra l'altro mi è arrivato di colore verde, ma lo preferisco al grigio. Comunque dovevate specificare che il colore è verde.

Ho optato per questo lettore leggendo le recensioni, posso dire che funziona benissimo, è silenzioso, veloce e facile da utilizzare non dovendo istallare alcun driver, appena lo si collega funziona da subito. L'ho provato sia su Win che IOS e va alla grande. Inoltre rispetto ad altri lettori esteticamente è molto bello e costruito molto bene. Ne consiglio l'acquisto a chi come me non ha un lettore nel proprio pc. Allego delle foto per darvi un'ulteriore dimostrazione.PS. lo si può collegare anche a televisori per vedere film e cosi via.

Me sacó del apuro porque pude usar los dvd con el software de fabrica con lo que para mi ya valen solo por eso un 5 estrellas. No lo he probado aun para grabar. El embalaje perfecto, llegó super rápido con lo cual me sacó de un gran apuro y en perfecto estado. En cuanto tenga más uso del producto pues actualizaré la review si Amazón permite esa opción. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

Il prodotto masterizza velocemente , peccato che non legge CD audio o DVD emettendo sinistri ticchettii e quindi per quanto mi riguarda e' totalmente inservibile (essendo stato acquistato soprattutto come lettore). Reso avviato.

il prodotto è molto fine ed elegante, al momento funziona bene, non posso dire nulla sull'affidabilità perché lo uso molto poco e da poco tempo ma per il momento fa quello che deve fare. Su alcuni file video ho trovato un certo ritardo tra audio e video ma credo sia dovuto alla connessione USB e comunque per come lo utilizzo io per me non è un problema.

L'ho uso ormai da circa una settimana, ma è stato un ottimo acquisto arrivato molto rapidamente. Rispetto ad altri masterizzatori lo trovo più silenzioso, più compatto. Ha un cavo per la usb 3.0, ottimo il packaging, lo ricomprerei sicuramente, soprattutto per la qualità/prezzo.

Funziona, si collega facilmente ma... perchè non c'è la scelta dei colori? mi è arrivato verde e non lo gradisco particolarmente. Inoltre, è arrivato graffiato. Anche se il prodotto funziona, questi aspetti non dovrebbero essere tralasciati.

Bonito, barato...pero no muy bueno. El sistema de apertura falla más que una escopeta de feria y tampoco reconoce los discos muy rápido. No muy convencido con la compra.

ce petit lecteur de CD/DVD pas cher n'aura pas rendu service longtemps !! livré le 26 mai , utilisé à 7 ou 8 reprises maximum, il n'est déjà plus reconnu par mon ordinateur portable Mac Book pro ; j'ai pensé que cela pouvait venir de la dernière MAJ d'Apple et contacté leur service client : nous avons fait toutes les vérifications nécessaires sans résultat et pour finir avons branché ce lecteur portable sur un autre ordinateur(de bureau ) fonctionnant avec windows : le lecteur n'apparait toujours pas à l'écran de l'ordinateur ! le problème vient donc du logiciel du lecteur CD

He tenido que devolverla porque no funcionaba. La he probado en tres equipos con sistema operativo distinto y no ha funcionado en ninguno. Por lo tanto no he podido probar si es buena o no.

Esta unidad funciona intermitentemente. A veces va bien y a veces no y aparecen errores. Solo la necesito para reproducir DVDs y los que utilizo son nuevos por lo que no sé el motivo de esos mensajes. Pongo fotos con el código que aparece.
