Rretrofit my existing mounting hardware!
Very impressed with High Quality, Lower Price than Insinkerator budget models - (e.g. Max-3 = 1/2 HP vs 1/3 Insink, SS grinders and SS internal basket Vs Insinks Galvanized grinders (galvanized will eventually rust). However, that said, my Insinkerator lasted 20 years with no breakdown until now. Surprisingly, the Max-3 retrofit my Insinkerator's mounting hardware, so I didn't need to redo the drain (plumber's putty, etc) . It's quiet and smooth sounding. So far, I'm happy with it.

The diameter of the disposer was a little larger than my old one, which made the drain pipe alignment off. The drain pipe in the house was glued, so I had a hard time hooking it up.I did get it finally and the disposal was very quiet.

Easy to install but instructions not very clear
Works just fine no issues. Instructions were a little difficult to follow due to not having a better explanation but overall easy to install with basic tools

Perfect fit!
This was a perfect drop-on swap for a 444 Insinkerator, no plumbing changes required at all. Cost less than trying to replumb the drains to take out the insinkerator altogether (and faster). It is also half as noisy as the original. Recommended!

So far so good
So far, so good. Easy installation even though I am far from a plumber. Pretty quiet and effective. The fifth stall is the one I save for longevity. That is why I can only give a 4 right now.
