This is more an essay then a full length book. However, it tried to convey a healthy style of love, one that is much for practical and long lasting, than the exciting, passionate love depicted in movies and novels. It has a clear theme and did not overstay its welcome, and is an easy and interesting read.

These are the things, issues, behaviors, etc that you may perceive about the other person initially, but are not inclined to examine because you are blinded by that new shiny object (attraction). The book does apply to couples in long term relations as they may agree on the issues and look into their relationship in a more practical way. 4 stars because I am not on board with the author's thoughts on cheating.

This is an exquisitely well written essay on marriage and the struggles of marriage. A greatly enjoyable book both in terms of the arguments being made, as well as the beauty of the prose.

Just like good finances, covers a subject society offers very little education on but exerts great impact on our life.

This is actually a freaking useful book. I don't know that I could adhere to all of the advice, nevertheless, I love the advice here.

I mean... this book had me locked in until it said: "The adulterer has to be ready to honour and forgive the partner's extreme capacity for jealousy, and so must, as far as is possible, resist the urge to have sex with other people, must take every possible measure to prevent it from being known if they do, and must respond with extraordinary kindness and patience if the truth does ever emerge."
