The Heco Unix has a fully threaded with changeable incline level. This gets smaller in the middle area and is smaller in the back of the threaded area than on the tip of the screw. Thanks to the changeable thread pitch of the Heco Unix the wood components are pulled together when screwed. This allows the use of full thread carriage bolts, even on wood, without it needing to be preloaded. The work is lot easier and much faster. Through the full thread, the components are also axial fixed. As a result, the effect of creaking and shrinkage of the wood by use is partially prevented by using threaded screws.
