Baen Sendi Hydration Bladder 2 Liter 70oz/3 Liter 100oz - Water Storage Bladder for Hydration Pack System (Blue, 70 oz/2 Liter)

Background: I've used hydration packs from Nathan and Camelbak for years, usually get several years use out of each of them.I got the blue 2 Liter model. For the price, it's hard to beat in the short term. It's a clear ripoff of the Camelbak bladder and nozzle design and the Nathan closure system. Materials feel a bit cheap but not that cheap. Nothing leaks so far after almost 100 miles of running with it. I prefer this style bite valve and lockout, it is easier and more reliable in my experience.Pros:- Cheap.- So far works fine.Cons:- Within 3 uses, the "rib" in the middle separated from one side so it bulges out now.- The plastic slide that closes the bladder flares out on the ends. In one of my hydration packs with thin padding, it digs into my back when running.- I suspect I could easily break four of these before breaking a single high-quality one for four times the price from a "big name" brand.

On the very first time I tried to fill up the pack, the piece of plastic holding the two sides of the bladder together ripped off on one side. Now the bladder doesn't have anything holding it together and the adhesive that was holding that piece together is exposed. I still decided to try it so, depending on how toxic of a glue they used, I may or may not be hospitalized in a few hours. The rest of the product does work well enough, however. The rubber smell is still there a few uses later but, to be fair, I did not do much to try to get rid of it. Would be better if it didn't break.

Tube works well with my Camelbak hydration bladder as well as other brands. I don’t really care for the bladder itself but will buy more as you can’t beat the price for a replacement tube. It is a little longer than my Camelbak one but I can easily cut it down some as an adjustment.

The first bladder arrived damaged but the seller responded quickly to my concerns sending a replacement. I am pleased with this new one (see photo) which has a greater holding capacity and a larger opening for ease in filling with water and ice. It can also be hung (with caribeaner clips) from a wheelchair or bed.

Generally good but Two big issues I found are (1) top of the pipe at mouth piece has a cheap rubber cap, very hard to suck water, leaks and is a extreme bad design (2) top black clip should have a hook to hold it to the bag. Withiut that, the water bag does not hang and chance of brust and leak again.

Everything seems great other than the mouthpiece arriving with what looks like a a razor cut in it. It doesn't seem to hinder performance, but it makes me worry about its longevity since it is already flawed. I understand that manufacturing defaults happen, but given all of the good reviews I expected better quality control.

Love this for my fishing trips but it’s a pain to clean even with the cleaning kit
