First you need to give it a few days out of the package to relax. Then what you have are sheets of very soft foam. Best described as the same density that a foam paint brush has. Not at all what I thought it would be. If you have ever received products that have a nice firm cutouts protecting them...well it's not this stuff. Difficult to make clean cut lines around any shape. Unless you're fine with the end result looking like a 5th grader did it.

The foam is as described, but it comes compressed in a bag. It's not immediately ready for use as it needs time to return to the original dimensions after being squished for shipping.
