great info for learning how to learn about yourself, the steps are easy to learn , go slow as you need , easy concepts to understand... with print was bigger though. its normal size text but I have trouble reading.

I love books that are simple, to the point and effective and this is one such book with self-healing techniques.You are introduced to Qigong with "Qigong emphasizes the cultivation of health through the removal of all blockages in the mind and body."The essence of qigong breathing for therapeutic purpose is "Exhale and inhale to expel the stale and take in the fresh.""If one is conversant with Qigong knowledge and practices the exercises with perseverance, results are guaranteed."The book begins with explanation of different postures in which you may practice qigong, different kinds of breathing and where to direct your awareness during qigong practice.Chapter 3 has 26 simple and easy-to-do exercises for health cultivation. In some of those exercises you massage a particular point on the body, in some you may tap a part of the body, and in others you may move the part of the body, like turn your neck around.You'll find exercises that improve your eyesight, hearing, strengthen your gums and teeth, improve digestion, nourish kidneys for rejuvenation, and more.Chapter 4 has exercises for training or cultivating qi, guiding it and emitting it for the purpose of healing others.Chapter 5 has suggestions for correcting different qigong imbalances that cause health problems.The end of the book contains diagrams of acupressure points so that you can easily locate them.

Great resource
My Qigong teacher used this book in a recent class and I found it very user-friendly. Photos are great help in locating sites. Good investment.

Qigong book for specific ailments
Good book, easy to follow, exercises that work. I prescribe appropriate qigong to my acupuncture patients for faster recovery. The results are lovely. Good reference for specific ailments and help resolving them.

Great book. Very useful and practical.
I am a believer of Chinese methods of treating ailments and illnesses with their ancient and proven methods. This method is also great for toning up and keeping fit.

very intersting
i come from the mainstream american way of going to doctor to treat things and just resently looked for better ways to have my body heal itself this is a great book but can see if your mind isnt open to other ways this would be a difficult book to take seriously must take time and believe it doesnt work sa fast as a pill lol
