GREAT SUPPORT, BUT DOUBLE-CHECK SIZE.
I love this brace. In addition to having bone-on-bone Osteoarthritis, I also tore the Meniscus on my left knee.I have a different, more complex brace to wear when I go outside (I use a wheelchair mostly), but when I am home, I prefer a less cumbersome brace. Most braces do not support my knee well enough to control the pain.I finally bought this knee brace, and I now I have a winner.Throughout the day, I may sit in a regular chair or I may have to recline on my bed, because of disability. This brace allows me to keep it on even when I am reclining on the bed. It is comfortable no matter where I sit or if I am doing "furniture walking" in the apartment.Other braces did not have enough support, but this one has a lot of support. With other braces, the velcro began to NOT stick much too quickly. This brace seems to have medical-grade velcro, which is much stronger and usually lasts much longer than retail-grade aka sports-grade velcro. The only thing with the stronger velcro is that it takes a while to learn how to use it without irritating the skin on your fingers. It helps to not pull at it with the tips of the fingers. I've learned to sort of use the sides of my fingers, and that lessens the strain on my fingers.I like that there is a double strap on the top and on the bottom, allowing me to tighten (or loosen) the brace as much as I need.My only caution is choosing the size. I measured my thigh as they said to do, and my measurement was right at the border of 2 different sizes; the max on one size and the least on the next size. Since I read one reviewer say the brace was too big for her, I decided to buy the smaller of the 2 choices. Well, it turned out to be way too small for me, not even getting over my knee!I finally reached out to the seller, even though I thought I had waited too long (busy with treatments for breast cancer & other health issues), It was the last date they allowed for returns, and it was late at night. I decided to try anyway. I sent them an email, explaining the situation. The next morning, A Saturday, they responded & said they would be sending out the larger size immediately, which they did. I had it Monday morning! The larger brace fit me fine. I wanted to wait a while before doing a review. I wanted to have time to use the brace for a while, to see how good a job it does and to see if the fabric & side hinges felt sturdy. After wearing it every day for a few weeks, I have to say I am very satisfied with it. It does not irritate my skin at any point, & the hinges feel strong and are supportive. The knee cushion is very protective, too.

The sizes run small so order accordingly!
First thing you need to know about these knee support braces: The sizes run small. I read the reviews and some said they're too large while others said too small.I measured my leg as per the picture. Six inches above my kneecap I measured the circumference of my thigh. It was 16" so since the lowest length listed was 17" I ordered a small.I'm not an overly muscular guy, I'm not obese, but I am six foot tall. And the S size brace was much much too small. I could barely pull it on my leg. So I sent it back and ordered the M. This was also too small and too tight so I sent it back as well. Finally I ordered an L and this one fit. Amazon accepted my two returns without any problems. But the measuring specs for these braces definitely run too small.Other than that the brace is very well made. It doesn't open, it slides on like a sock. There's two loops on either side of the top to put your fingers into to help pull it on.There are two Velcro straps each for the top and bottom but these only need to be set once. After that there's just two main straps that you need to tighten and loosen and the brace just slides on and off. Much easier than the kind that you wrap around your leg and then close with Velcro. The material is very breathable and comfortable and it provides good support for your knee. Overall a high quality knee brace.

Very worthwhile purchase. I love this brace.
I love this knee brace. It helps support my knee very well and eliminates a lot of my pain, though not all, but I can’t expect it to ease it all. I even fell while wearing it and it helped prevent a lot of potential damage and pain to my knee that would’ve occurred had I not been wearing it. It took most of the impact as I fell on the top of the knee part where the circular padding is. I wore this while hiking and I honestly believe my knee would’ve been much more worn afterwards had I not worn this brace.I love that it has so much size adjustability and that it isn’t so bulky and ugly. It also bends with my knee very well and seems well built. It holds up pretty nicely and overall is definitely worth the purchase. It is seamless in the way that it has to be put on like a pair of jeans instead of being placed over top and strapped on like some other smaller ones. This is nice as it helps with the support, however, it does cause struggle with wearing over my jeans as they ride up with the brace as I pull it up into place. I’m sure if I got a larger size this may help at least a little bit.The only thing I don’t love about it is that it keeps slightly bunching at the knee pit and causing discomfort there and it tends to slip down a smidge requiring adjusting, though not as bad as some others. This might be remedied if I got a larger size, but I’m not sure.

Helpful But Research
This knee brace is built better than you'd expect at this price point, but the actual "hinges" are suspect. The brace slides over your leg and had a solid Velcro system in place, but the hinges that run adjacent to your knee don't seem to have any resistance at all. They could possibly help against lateral movement, but without resistant supporting your knee, I think it's just keeping it in an alignment situation.I have several knee sleeves from the same company and I rely on them more often. At 1/3 the price, they are a great deal. That product is a compression sleeve for your knee and has some plastic resistance pieces on either side. The company does make a solid product though.
