Installation is a process but it’s worth it.
Installing it is definitely a process. It takes some ingenuity to thread the wires through the polls. But the light looks so great and was worth it. Do yourself a favor and install a ceiling medallion as well. It takes the look up a notch.

Hard to install, but it's exactly what I wanted
Unlike most chandeliers that come pre-wired together so that you only need to hook them up to existing hot, neutral, and ground wires, this felt more like a DIY job. You have to put the entire lamp together, which makes sense because it's huge. I bought this lamp because I have a large living room and I wanted something big enough to make a statement as well as something that would spread light throughout the room. This lamp gives you flexibility with positioning the arms and placing light where you want it.The design of the lampshades function like a reflector. All of the light will be placed downward in a puddle, so don't buy this lamp for ambient lighting. Instead, use it for task lighting or to add drama to a space that already has ambient light.

The quality is better than I expected and it looks exactly like the real deal. The instructions were very confusing and not really correct, but luckily my electrician was able to wire up the fixture. Installation itself was also very tricky due to the arms swinging around constantly while you're working on it. However it was definitely worth the added effort for the price.

Not worth the price, not even close
I paid $370 for this light in September of 2022. I really like the design on which it is based, and this light is significantly cheaper than the "mainstream" alternatives. That being said, $370 is not cheap so I was expecting a relatively high degree of quality, especially given that the overall construction of this light is relatively simple. The box arrived very damaged (as in it looked like it had been impaled/squished by forklift or human foot) and the damage to the box was covered up with a bunch of paper tape. No one bothered to check the lamp inside the box; I know this because two of the shades and one of the arms were scratched deeply enough that any reasonable person would've not let this leave the factory. The mounting bracket with which the lamp attaches to the ceiling is two pieces of metal, bent into U-shapes, that are spot welded together. The spot welds did not penetrate, so the bracket is extremely flimsy out of the box. Mine fell apart as soon as I unscrewed it from the lamp for install; I welded it back together and now it's fine enough. The scratching that I mentioned earlier was deep but repairable. I just masked off the area, and spray painted the relevant parts satin black to match the finish elsewhere on the light's arms and mount. The electrical connector that is supplied inside the casing isn't even the right connector for the given application. To make this lamp work, you need to connect the line and load wires from each of the three arms to the line and load wires in your junction box. The ground (more on that later) then attaches to the main body of the lamp. After connecting the four line wires and the four load wires, you should effectively have two bundles of four wires- this is usually done with a wire nut or a lever nut. This lamp instead shipped with a connector that allows four separate wires to connect to another four separate wires; no bundles, just four totally separate pairs. The ground wire is locked to the main body of the light via a nut that is both painted in place, and also insulated from the body of the lamp by yet another layer of paint. A crazy amount of paint actually. I don't think that any ground is going to function effectively when it's this well insulated- kind of defeats the purpose of the ground. Finally, the main body of the lamp has the seller's logo on it! I don't want that and I don't think anyone else does either. After all this, why didn't I just return it? Because, in comparison to the name brand light which it emulates, this is still a good (financial) deal. All of the flaws are really dumb but they are fixable with a little work and a can of spray paint. Would I buy this again? Definitely not. Did I install it in my home, after the repairs? Yes. Especially from a couple feet away, it looks fine- now that I fixed it.This light gets two stars because it was fixable, not because it deserved them. Caveat emptor.

Buyer Beware
The first shipment came in a crushed box and the lamp was damaged and scratched. Also, mysteriously a child had drawn all over the inside of the box with crayon. We immediately sent it back.Another one was delivered in better condition but the instructions are essentially worthless. You will receive a puzzle that even if you have electrical experience you will find it challenging to put together. The hardware is borderline useless and there are items that are included with zero explanation. A white glove (?) and a plastic spacer that we had to figure out on our own how to use.The lamp is very attractive but I will be surprised if it lasts very long without falling apart.

The wiring is not standard
I really was looking forward to this install but after i opened the box, i realized the standard wiring was a bit different. I didn't want to hire an electrician as i have installed many fixtures before and could not stomach having to pay someone. It is beautiful but I believe the connectors will require some help from someone with more experience. This was the fastest unboxing and rebooting ever. Maybe some else will have better luck.
