I'm not much of a shaving cream fan. I think a bar of soap far out performs it and that's what I would use when ever I shaved my face. However, I now shave my head and that makes quite a mess. I must of tried every shaving cream from the sun to the moon. They either were awful or required a lot of work with a shaving bowl and a badger hair brush. Then one day I picked up this Cremo from target and was pleasantly surprised. It's hands down the best shaving cream on the market. Just make sure your head or face is wet before you apply it and it will be the smoothest shave you've ever had.

Still the best . Small amount with generous water, 30 second facial massage and you have the opportunity for the perfect shave. I combine this with A Gillette Fusion 5 blade and life is good. Try a splash of good ol Aqua Velva after shave after for that good burn and you look like a million bucks after taxes:-).

Big fan of the Cremo shaving cream. This is so much better than any of the aerosol foams or gels on the market. I first heard about this as a sponsor on a podcast I listened to. I generally hate the process of shaving and suffering through dull blades and the inevitable nicks or cuts that happen. This provides excellent lubrication and doesn't seem to clog the razor as much as some gels. A tube lasts a long time and makes an unpleasant task just a bit easier.

Favorite brand. Great shaves. Only complaint, they discontinued the bourbon vanilla I used the past 4 years. Why do companies do that?

On the left of the picture is what I've discovered used for nearly a decade. On the right is what showed up in my latest delivery.I discovered Cremo Original in 2015 and immediately decided it was an amazing product. My Amazon subscribe and save order history tells me I've purchased at least 3 dozen tubes of Original Cremo since then. When this months order arrived I noticed the tube was more off-white than bright white, but I didn't think much of it. When I went to use it, it came out of the tube in a firmer strip than I'm used to. Applying it to my face it smeared out much thinner than normal, not as foamy as normal. But it still gave excellent lubricantion and a good shave. Next day, same thing. I finally looked more closely at the tube , Citrus? What happened to my Original Cremo? My Subscribe and Save still says Original. The bag it was shipped in says Original. But the tubes say Citrus. When I look at the product page it shows Citrus. What happened to Original? Is this supposed to be "New and Improved " ?Say it isn't so Joe! What do I do to get my Original back?5 stars is for Cremo Original. I'm not as happy a out this new formula. I also don't detect much of a Citrus scent either but the feel of the shave cream is definitely different.

Everything these guys make is really nice quality and always lasts a long time.Great quality. One tube lasts me about three months. Incredible.

Just squeeze a small amount in your wet hands and lather it up and apply. It doesn't take much, so while this may seem pricier than the cheap crap you can buy, this will last as long and will give you a 10x better shave.After shaving, my face is smooth and clean and my wife loves the results. Yours will too.Pro shaving tips from 4 decades of shaving:Never shave upwards. When you do, you are pulling the hairs up and back and that causes them to invert and causes bumps. It may seem like you are getting a closer shave, but you are actually causing issues you have to deal with longer term. Just keep shaving on a downward stroke only.After you lather your face up, let it sit. The longer it is on, the more pliable/softer your beard hairs will be and will make shaving much easier and closer.Rinse your blade constantly. Every time you stroke the blade on your face, rinse the blade. Haris are stuck between the blades and they prevent you from getting a close shave.When rinsing your blade, place the blade at the bottom of the falling water. Gravity and propulsion gives it more force to remove the hairs stuck between the blades.Rinse both sides of the blade, not just one side, so you make sure to get the hairs out from in-between.After shaving, dry the blades on your towel. Your blades will last much longer. Don't put the blades in a box or bag. Just leave it out to dry faster.Get a good razor. I use the Amazon Basics 5-Blade MotionSphere Razor and it is a fantastic razor and the best price on the market.
