Kontrol Freek First Person Shooter FPS Freek Classic XBOX 360 + PS3

After reading some reviews of this product i thought that it would realy improve my aim and accuracy by quite a bit , but after playing some games and getting used to it in black ops and mw3 my accuracy is actually decreasing from about 22% to 21% altough i feel that i have more control over my aim which is odd.Also my KD ratio is about the same in mw3 i haven't noticed any substancial diference it's still around 2.30 mw3, and 2.60 in black ops.I think that the players that will benefit the most from this product are the ones that play at higher sensibility like 6+ becouse i've noticed that you dont loose as much control and accuracy over your aim at higher sensibility as you would without them.If you realy want to improve your gameplay i think that a decent headset and online conection will make much more of a diference that these.Also after getting used to them if you decide to take them off your analog stick will feel strange until you get used to it again.Bottom line.It might help a bit in controlling you aim expecialy if you play at higher sensibility but it isn't a game breaker.

They are good for racing games but not so good for fps as they are raised to high and give to much leverage. The grip is good and I have used them for 2 years straight and their still good but they take a while to get use to due to them being raised,

Had bought these after a few gaming commentators on YouTube had been talking about them and that they improve your aim and I have to say, they do! I bought these instead of the other ones as the others are either shorter or have different designs on top and are a bit pointless. I do play a fair amount of Xbox and have been using them for a year and they still look like new! I would definitely recommend these for anyone who plays any FPS games!

I bought these specifically for playing a new space simulation game on PC, where controlling your ship is paramount. It completely changed the level of control I was able to achieve. I have dropped them to 4 stars as the extenders have actually damaged the tops of the thumbsticks where they grip on.

this really did help my aim call of duty it helped out quite a lot however the price may be a bit hight from the actual website kontrolfreek.com you could actually get this for 8$ however i did not want to wait for the delivery time so i bought this from amazoni would recommend this to anyone who is dedicated to FPS games if you are just the average gamer this probably is not your best buy it may just be a waste of money.

i got these because i really wanted to get better at aiming on Call of Duty, so i looked around and then finally made the decision to get these, and they are really helpful and really have improved my game with the addition of these, highly recommend these to anyone with the same/similar intentions that i had at the start.

Frage mich,warum so ein Hype um diese Dinger gemacht wird.Habe mich beeinflussen lassen und mir diese Sticks bestellt und muss sagen,KD Absturtz vom Feinsten :(Habe im Schnitt ne KD von 1,8 (BO2) und bei diesen Sticks ist der Schnitt unter 1.Habe es auch 2 Wochen lang ausprobiert,also kann es nicht an der Eingewöhnung liegen.Diese Sticks sind viel zu hoch bzw. stehen zu sehr ab und das ist echt sehr unhandlich!!!Versuche jetzt mal diese billigeren Sticks,welche keinen Hals haben.Einzig für Scharfschützen sind diese hohen Sticks eventuell geeignet, aber nicht für MP's,Sturmgewehre etc.

+ Durch die Verlängerung des eigentlichen Sticks ist es möglich präziser zu zielen.+ Guter Grip- Verarbeitung. Man sieht überall noch überstehende Gummireste und das kann für den Preis ((17.99€) meiner Meinung nach eigentlich nicht sein- Hoher Preis für zwei so kleine Aufsätze aus Plastik und Gummi..PS: Ich spiele damit Shooter wie CoD MW3 und Black Ops 2

One long day playing Destiny 2 and the one on the left stick came off twice and has gotten noticably loose several times. My aim sucks in this game. It is okay against the AI aliens, but horrible against other players. I honestly can't tell a difference with these in this single day. At first, my thumbs wanted to just rest on the edges and my knuckles got a little sore. I learned to adjust my grip and was quickly able to use them without discomfort. If they help you, great. The jury is still out for me. If I change my mind, I'll update this review.

I bought these for my Xbox back when the listing just said Xbox compatible. I did substitute for the Xbox one versions for CQC Freak (the lower grey ones) for my controllers' left thumbsticks, and Bombshells for the right. I wasn't necessarily expecting it to improve my accuracy or anything like that, but I'm a girl with small hands, and would frequently find my thumbs hurting after a long gaming session because of the stock thumbsticks. A friend had me try his that had a similar configuration (lower enhancer on the left, taller on the right) and it felt more comfortable. I did ultimately but the CQC on the right and the Bombshells on the left, so that it is easier to go from stick to buttons.While my accuracy has almost doubled from Cod ghosts to Advanced Warfare, whether or not these are solely to credit... I don't know. However, I do know that these make it easier for me to play (hence why it's more comfortable). I also love the color that these bring to my controller. I think it was a great purchase and I'd definitely rebuy.

I was terrible at Battlefield 4 (PS3) prior to using this product. I would typically place well each match for scoring, but would have atrocious kill/death ratio (2 kills, 20 deaths). Even getting the drop on the opposing player, my shots went everywhere. The FIRST match I played with Kontrol Freeks got me in first place, with 11 K / 14 D. Not too bad. And certainly a heck of a lot cheaper than replacing another rage destroyed controller...My only issue would be they can pop off when playing games that require an extended duration of direction hold, such as Assassins Creed 4 when sailing, or GTA V when flying. This has only happened twice, and with those games, not really a critical issue.*Update*After using these for several months now, an issue was discovered in that the edges of the three attaching pieces rub against the control. This has resulted in them wearing down and leaving a white powder on and near the L3 stick, which subsequently, has caused it to stick just slightly forward. Cleaning and resetting the control has improved this issue, but not fully resolved it. Had I noticed these attaching pieces were contacting the controller, I would have filed them down before hand.As this plastic powder did sort of screw up my controller, I am reducing my rating to four stars. Still a great product, but really, this is product flaw that should have been addressed before production.

Got these after seeing youtube video's of gamers rocking these and the idea of getting more range of motion by extending the joystick height made sense to me. I got them and after a week of playing I've got to say that I will never play a FPS without these again. I always play with a high sensitivity but in some cases my small movements weren't that controlled and sometimes I'd go to much and basically look like I was spraying and praying. With these (for example) on Call of Duty MW3 I had a sensitivity of 6 and now I'm playing with max sensitivity and it feels like it's not that slower and more usable if that makes any sense. I'm a huge advantage and it's the same feeling when I was playing COD4 and bought some turtle beach headsets and was like "WHY DID NOBODY TELL ME THIS" Spend the $12 and change and you won't be sorry. Oh side note that make sure you get matching colors, my controller looks ridiculous cause I have the Halo Xbox green controller and the joysticks are black. These are white bottoms with gray top and in no way match my control. I'm picky about that and wish I would have paid an extra $3 to get the black ones hahaha Oh and other side note I posted photo's on Facebook and my friends just don't believe and say things like my thumbs are that high or wow now the X,Y,A,B buttons are really far away....THAT IS NOT THE CASE. It takes like 20 minutes to get use to it and then you won't like using a controller without them.

Bought this with help needing better/ faster control and hopes of raising my sensitivity level.The item arrived fast and was very easy to put on..I put it on and played with it in hopes of glory...only to realize I got worse!! I get about a 2kd a game on COD and i was falling below 1 because it felt as if i had less control.I was close to returning it when I read on here to try it just on the right stick..and wow!! huge difference. Having it on the left created problems with what I was looking at..and I was looking at stuff faster then i wanted to..having it on the right created a much faster movement of the gun and that's what I needed. Also it helps you do a drop shot alot more easier...before I would be pressing it down hard since my controller is a little old...now I press it gently and my player is going to the ground quicker.I was playing on a sensitivity of 2...and as of yesterday I am up to 6 and playing very comfortable with it. I am not sure if it helped me much with the game it self..but it makes it more comfortable and I believe It is helping. For the price..it's worth it.My adviceGive it some time - takes 1 - 2 weeks to get comfortable with it.Try it just on the right stick if you still are not comfortable.Finally raise the sensitivity gradually - i started at a 3..got comfortable with the movements..and now I am up to a 6...I can probably play at higher sensitivity the more I play..it seems i get more and more comfortable with each higher sensitivity. I figured having this on meant instant sensitivity improvement so as soon as I got it i put it to a 5 and I was all over the place.It is easy to remove and put on - i removed it probably 5 times..since I was getting aggrivated with it in the beginning. Put your nail under it and lift it out - don't try to pull it out from the top.Recommended if you need help raising your sensitivity level and want to easily do a drop shot.Good luck

Let me make this crystal clear right off the bat: THE FPS GAMEFREEK IS NOT A SILVER BULLET! You will not jump from the bottom of the carnage report to the top in five games, you will not suddenly pwn those that have pwned you and you most certainly will not go from a +10 K/D (Kill/Death) ratio to a +35 K/D.That said, this attachment will help you become better at FPS games. It accomplishes this two ways. One it increases the length of the aiming joystick. This effectively gives you more leverage which in turn lowers the resistance provided by the spring that holds the joystick upright (as far as I can tell this doesn't damage the spring) which in turn lets you make turns with less force from your thumbs that you would have to apply with a normal joystick. The end result is more accurate tracking ability which equals being able to put the bullets in your ideal location.The second is that it forces you to increase your look sensitivity (in fact those who don't may notice their turning is slower). This of course causes you to turn to look more quickly (particularly useful for snipers and turning to face an attacker). I would recommend you play a few single player games (or games that wont affect your standing on any scoreboard) to get used to the new sensitively as I needed a few games to get used to the freek control wise.Now, all of this said, you still need skill to be able to put those bullets down towards your target. This thing doesn't auto aim, doesn't pull the trigger or do anything you cant already do. If you absolutely stink at the game, chances are you will still stink. I ultimately recommend this to the player who is good but wants to get better.I have a 360 and play primarily Halo3 with this. Before I got this I did alright, I typically would only get a few positive K/D games but usually I just broke even. Since I got this though I usually do get positive K/D now and only occasionally now will I only end up breaking even. In the end, a very good buy in my opinion.

These things pop on and off very easily, but stay secure as long as you need them on. This is good because it helps to be able to take them off for different games, as I would not recommend these for something like hockey, or another game where you need to have quick movements of the stick. If you need precise movement of your sticks, these things are great. I play Battlefield games, and I have my sensitivity turned almost all the way up, and these things still allow me to look around slowly if needed, or, if I need to turn around quickly, all I have to do is push the stick all the way over and I turn around almost instantly because my sensitivity is so high. This is awesome. I don't know if you've ever tried to play with high sensitivity in first person shooters before, but people who are able to master it, have a definite advantage because they can track targets easier, and turn around fast enough to shoot you before you shoot them if you are sneaking up on them. I used to play on low sensitivity when I first started playing fps, but in battlefield games, I found it to be very difficult to keep up with fast moving targets. So I started playing with my sensitivity increased a little, but I could not put it up too high because things became very jerky and too fast. But, I have found an answer, and it is these bad boys. I can have the smooth looking around when I need it, and I also can turn around faster if I need it, or even track targets that are moving fast. It's so simple logic, I can't believe I didn't invent these. Longer sticks makes for longer movements of the thumbs, which in turn gives you more space to cover to get the complete side to side movement of a stick giving you more precision. Bottom line, these things do what they are suppose to, it's up to you to do the rest of the work to be the best.

no change for me in game play. I obviously notice more travel in my sticks but it isn't for the good because of the extra travel I have to extend my thumbs farther than without the kontrol freeks to get to the same place on the screen. The height feels a bit weird vs normal and while trying to get use to them my hands get tired pretty quick from the new reach or range of motion and holding my thumbs up heigher than normal from the controller. I'll give them a little more time but im leaning towards calling these things expensive trash vs an improvement but other people say otherwise hence my purchase.After using them for around 5 hours of game play you get use to the feel of them and my k/d ratio has went up a tad. These are nothing game changing but more of a fine tuning addition that may or may not improve the use of your controller for you. Placebo effect?Ive used them for more than 10 hours of game play now and im sold. My k/d ratio has went up signifcantly and the game has just become more fun. I would recomend these to friends.

Most items that are advertised to help you in FPS games are junk. Not these. I am NOT a great FPS shooter, but I love the games. I am one of those players that takes a long time to come up the learning curve in games. Halo Reach and Call of Duty are the current games I play.Did these make me a great player? Nope. They do allow me to hold my own now, which is a great start! In Halo I am now frequently in the top 3-5 players in multiplayer, after, of course, a shortened version of my learning curve! I am amazed that I can now hold my own with some of the better players. In Black ops my ratings are much better than they were in MW2 without the Freeks. Before I grew frustrated with the game, always being at the bottom of the lists. In Black Ops I am getting a higher k/d ratio, and am in the top 3 a lot more often. Myaccuracy has also improved some. The important thing is to find the sensitivity that allows you to find enemies quickly, but keep your aim on the target once he is found! In Halo the best thing is to find the sensitivity to allow you to get off those critical head shots. Once you have gotten used to these you WILL be doing better, and you will not want to go back!I showed these to my daughter's friend, and all he could say was "Wow, you have improved the 360 controller...Amazing!" Well, I didn't do it, but the makers of FPS Freeks did!For the price you will not find a better product to improve your FPS gaming. I can't play without them! Many in my clan love them. Some use both and some only use them on the left stick, but those that use them love them too!Then again, why am I trying to convince you? If everyone uses them my advantage will go away. Forget what I s aid! They suck!!! Don't buy them! They work for me but won't for you!!!!!!
