The kit arrived today and all items were present but not necessarily as described in the advert. The supplied sdcard is 32GB when the ad says it's 128GB and the picture in the ad shows 64GB. That sdcard is complete rubbish, even when installed in a working sdcard->USB adapter you can only read from it at 5MB/s. The supplied USB->sdcard adapter is broken and just gives I/O errors even when used with known-good sdcards. A working Samsung Evo 64GB sdcard that can be read at 95MB/s on a different adapter only gives I/O errors when used with the supplied adapter. Of the items in this kit, the rpi5 was good, still sealed in its box, the PSU was an EU one but I was aware that it might not be a UK one, the case is good, the sdcard is useless and the sdcard USB adapter looks cool but does not work correctly. The HDMI cable is an unknown quantity so far.

Received as expected and as described. All are working so far as much as we've tested.

Mini pc à monter soi-même. Plein de tutos sur internet (YouTube) et sites consacrés. OS au choix à télécharger sur le site si ce n'est pas déjà sur la carte sd offerte dans le kit starter.

Compré el Raspberry Pi 5 8GB Starter Kit para montarme un mini servidor y ha sido una compra redonda. Viene con lo necesario para arrancar sin complicarte: montaje rápido, buena presentación y todo encaja perfecto. La diferencia de rendimiento frente a modelos anteriores se nota muchísimo: va súper fluida, abre todo rápido y para proyectos tipo Home Assistant, Docker o servidor casero va sobrada. La carcasa y la refrigeración cumplen muy bien (importante en la Pi 5), y con la fuente adecuada no he tenido cortes ni reinicios raros. En general, si quieres una Pi 5 y no quieres ir comprando piezas sueltas, este kit es la opción más cómoda y merece la pena.
