Great unit

Love this induction burner. Cooking is a breeze and boiling water in large pan heats up in a snap. Love the ease of cleanup. I no longer use the burners on my stove.

After approx 3 days of use: Right burner works fine. Left burner will not shut off, continuous beeping, no other functions work, error code 3, Turned power off for 30 minutes and restarted per instructions. No resolution and problem continued. Contacted Empava customer support via, email, and online chat with some difficulties. After some back and forth Empava agreed to send me a replacement unit, and if it does arrive the 4 stars are for good customer service. Am awaiting to see if replacement arrives, and if replacement has any issues. Hoping for the best. Edit: replacement arrived within a week and is working very well. Initial difficulty overcome by some pretty great customer service and willingness to make things right!

Love the design of this 5 burner, 36 inch induction cooktop. Wanted something with a large center burner as the main cooker. The value on this purchase here was great compared to purchasing at brick and mortar stores where I'd checked prices. Not a brand I was familiar with or had any past experience with, but for this price, decided I was alright giving it a go. Install is simple, typically stove type install on this product. Cutout and sunk into my countertop. Looks great and so far has worked well. We had an induction previously and so our pots and pans were all compatible with induction cooking - that's something to be aware of if you're making the switch TO induction for the first time. Rule of thumb is: if a magnet sticks to the pot/pan, it will work with induction.

Order the stove top for our little cabin in the wood. Opened the box just over a month after the purchase and went to install the legs for the unit to sit on our countertop. There are interior threads the feet screw into. As I went to install the last leg the interior thread pushed through which did not allow the let to install. Really no way to fix. I contacted AMAZON as the return time had expired by 5 days. Amazon advised me to contact Empava. I contacted them and was told to send an email with pictures of the issue, and they would take care of it. I sent the picture and emailed them with the issue and was told to contact Amazon. I advised them that was already done with not results. The next email from EMPAVA I was shown how to install the legs? REALLY?? I have made several calls and left messages as they are supposed to return the calls. I have had no luck. Very poor customer service on a defective issue, with a very short window for returns.

Just what I was looking for, I recommend it

Am induction stove definitely heats up and cooks quickly. I am still trying to get use to using it. Food seem to stick to the pans, which did not happen with my electric stove. The fan runs all the time when on. Very annoying and loud.

Works fantastic. Unlike electric cooktops, this stays shiny and bright. Really thrilled we got this.
