This battery saved my life! I had to get lesson plans done prior to a flight out of the country and it lasted a full 6 hours in an airport and still didn’t even need to be charged! I’m seriously amazed by it! My last battery got super hot and didn’t hold a charge after a short while. I haven’t had this one that long (only 2 months) but so far super impressed.

Was a perfect replacement for my Hp Spectre

Short and sweet, this allowed me to extend the life of my laptop for several years to come. It was very easy to install and so far it is performing great. If you are not afraid of fixing your laptop and need one of these, I would strongly recommend this item.

The replacement battery came with all of the tools needed. The directions were fairly clear and we had the old battery out and this replacement battery in in minutes. Charged overnight and when I booted up, the computer worked great and I appreciate the battery life. I wish I had known how easy this would be, suffered with an expanding battery that I was nervous about for months prior to changing out.

So the original battery on my four year old HP Spectre x360 15t-df100 was starting to noticeably bulge, to the point where the back casing was starting to crack open. I ordered this battery as a replacement, a little nervous that it wasn't directly from HP but I figured that even if I have to replace it again it would be better than what I currently have. I installed it a couple of days ago and so far it is working great. When I first installed it the battery level was at about 60%. I turned off the laptop and charged it for a couple of hours and then when I turned it back on the battery was at 100%. I've been working on it, unplugged, for several hours now and it's only down to 74%.The new battery came in a small box with protective foam over it. Note that two screwdrivers are included, but you have to take the battery out of the box to find them. I didn't realize this at first because they aren't readily visible, so I fumbled around with some other similar sized screwdrivers I had on hand before finding them! I appreciated that they were magnetized at the end so that you don't lose these tiny screws somewhere in the laptop innards.There are also instructions included, but they are practically useless. I definitely recommend looking up videos on how to replace the battery on your particular model. It is fairly straightforward but you want to make sure you're following along to get it right. And call your local waste management company about how to dispose of the old battery, don't just throw it in the trash!Some advice - be very careful when taking out the little screws on the back cover of the laptop. They strip VERY easily. And I'll mention, since this isn't obvious, that most of the screws are actually hidden underneath the two long skinny rubber strips. Use a small flathead screwdriver to peel up one end of the strip to expose the screws, being careful to peel both the rubber and the clear glue strip underneath it at the same time, otherwise the rubber may break off.When I first pressed the power button on the laptop after install it took an unusually long time for the laptop to start up so I was freaking out a bit, but was relieved to find that it just needed some time to recognize the new battery.I'm really happy with the new battery so far. I will come back to update my review if I find that it stops holding a charge in the near future, but so far it's working as expected.
