Ultimate Ears Boom 2 Green Machine Wireless Mobile Bluetooth Speaker (Waterproof and Shockproof) (Renewed)

I absolutely love my new UE Boom 2 Wireless Bluetooth speaker! I did lots of research and was thinking about getting a Bose, but I am so happy I got this one!. I got this one as it seemed more rugged. It is waterproof and will be great to take camping and other places with me. I love that it can team with other peoples' UE Boom 2's. It has a fantastic sound to it; much better than I would have expected. I cannot imagine Boise being that much better. I've heard the sound from the Boise is better, but the sound and volume capacity on this one are fantastic! It is easy to sync with and easy to use! It has such fun colors too!Update 12/2/2016: I still like this wireless bluetooth speaker, but I don't like the drum sound it makes when it's turned on or off. I have it in my office now, and that noise is irritating. I have a smaller and less expensive bluetooth speaker in my bathroom that works well enough that it makes me wonder why I got this one. I really got this one for outdoors (hiking, camping, etc.), but haven't used it much for that yet. The sound on this one is excellent, but I'm not really a sound snob.

*UPDATE*After more than 2 months of usage, I am starting get love this speaker more. Sounds great!. Very Very durable and build quality is just top notch. I compared the build quality with JBL Charge 3 and found out that UE boom 2 is alot better.Sound quality wise, if you are basshead. this is NOT FOR YOU. I repeat THIS IS NOT FOR YOU!. this has bass but not as booming or deep as jbl charge 3.----------------------------------------------longing to buy portable speaker for myself.. after resarching so many brands and reading reviews.. end up buying this.. glad that I make a right choice.Sound quailty:Bass: decent amount of bass for its size, if are looking for some deep bass.. this is not for you and IMO speaker at this size.. u won't get deep bass as wellMids: very bright and clearHighs: good highs even at high volume.My cons is that it's quite pricey! But hey fortunately I secured cherrybomb edition for just usd149!!! :D

This speaker is awesome. Great sound and easy to use. Waterproof is great as it makes it easy to take to parties, picnics, etc. You can't beat this speaker.Volume buttons are huge and super easy to operate. It has good connectivity range with my bluetooth devices so you can move around with your phone without it cutting out.Good base from this little speaker.Charge lasts for hours, so you can listen to music until your heart is content.Tap the top of the speaker to skip songs which is a convenient feature....as long as your annoying friends don't figure out how to use it and start skipping good songs on you!

I decided to buy this after hearing it at the barbershop I go to. I was very surprised to see that all that great sound was coming from such a portable speaker. The main purpose was to use this as a speaker for my computer at work. With the optional ability to use an AUX in, it is perfect for that. So the one small issue is that while this sounds fantastic if it is turned up to a moderate to loud volume, it does not sound very good at low volume.So keep that in mind when you buy this. Is it going to be in a place where you can turn it up? Perfect! If not, you might want to consider something else. Aside from that, the ease of use is simple to setup and use. The Battery life is fantastic. The simplicity of the buttons is straight forward. Having an AUX in as well as bluetooth put it ahead of the competition, even ahead of the newer version of the same speaker as It does not have this according to its description.

The media could not be loaded. I love this speaker!. It has great sound quality very clear, and doesn’t get rusty when it’s all the way up. It’s really easy to connect to Bluetooth. I love the color too, great for my room! I’m really going to enjoy this speaker. The packaging came in a round container, when you open it and pull the speaker out you’ll see a highlighter yellow cardboard container. That’s where the charging cord and base are. When looking on top of the speaker you’ll see two buttons, one to turn on the speaker and one that’ll blink when looking for where to connect. On the bottom side of it you’ll see a rubber cover covering the charging port and aux port. Very excited to try out the waterproof feature.

Sounds great and is surprisingly loud for its size. It actually has pretty good power and low end (bass).Fairly easy to connect via bluetooth. The nice feature is that this is one of the few high quality compact battery-powered speakers that actually has an auxiliary input in case you don't want to or cannot connect via bluetooth since your audio source may not be a smart phone or iPod, making it more flexible for multiple input types.I have not really used it on battery power alone, so I cannot provide feedback on how long it last when not plugged in. We use it in a small gym (approx. 550 sq ft) and it fill sit up with sound and serves its purpose.

This is the best electronic purchase I have ever made. It effortlessly connects/reconnects itself to my MacBook Pro very easily. It is such a great augmentation to laptop use it should be a standard accessory. Just push the button and listen for the drum roll. I hook up to YouTube and listen to music or lectures/interviews and carry the speaker around the house including in the bathroom while taking a shower. I leave the MacBook inside and carry the speaker outside to the hot tub. The speaker has its own volume control and music reproduction is fantastic. If you are suspect concerning low end response, my brother, who recommended I purchase this unit is a bassist (electric and string, studio recording session player and performer all over the world) and uses this speaker with his IPhone in his teaching sessions with his students. I bought two for convenience, but most people would only need one. This would be a great gift for anyone who likes to listen to music from their computer or who may have difficulty hearing conversation/sounds emanating from the comparatively pathetic laptop speakers.

This is going to be a little long and I believe if you are spending that much than you deserve to know as much as you can before investing. For those who prefer fast food I believe the Headline will be enough!SOUND - is Great in terms of quality and the loudness. You can easily do a house party just on these speakers. Or if you like Classical and instrumental like me, trust me these boom2 won't disappoint you. The UE app comes with an equalizer which helps you to play around with diff settings. Ofcourse, the quality of music file you play is the most crucial factor along with the music player app that you play it on. If you want the best then invest a little in a paid music player app and download/stream/buy your music files in the least compressed format.Connectivity - is butter smooth and the range is just awesome. I stay in a 3 BHK of approx 1500sq/ft and from any place in my house I can connect my phone to Boom2. I can connect these speakers to my TV/Set top box, Phone and even my smart speakers(amazon echo dot). Paired with a smart speaker, Boom2 becomes an incomparable entertainment device for your home. It also has a 3.5mm jack and with an RCA cable you can even connect them to an old Tv or one without bluetooth support.Design - I am personally a fan of UE speakers design and aesthetics. Not only does it look beautiful in different colour options you are provided but it also has this amazing 360° sound which enables you to enjoy it from all directions. The Boom2 feels really premium in your hands and is a treat to the eyes as well.Size - The portability of a bluetooth speaker is one of the most crucial factors and Boom 2 is surprisingly vey portable. I was thinking it's going to be very heavy and though it is a bit but that doesn't make it any less portable. There is a removable hook also to hang the speaker on, or you can just remove the hook and fix the speakers on a tripod.Pairing - I am sure you guys know this that we can connect our UE speakers to other UE speakers and they will play in sync together. This can really be an awesome function if you want a multi - room sound set-up paierd with a smart speaker or you just want to shake the hell out of your neighbours.Battery - Charge it and forget it. These speakers have one of the best back ups and you play them whole day without having to charge even once. Pressing + and - together will tell you the charge left which is a really cool feature. Battery drains faster if you keep changing the position of your bluetooth speaker and play the volume in full volume. So you can also control for how long you want your speakers to keep going without charging, specially in outdoor trips.Durability - Eyes closed they are one of the strongest Bluetooth speakers ever been build. They can literally play underwater and go on and on in full rain. Bear lots of falls without an issue. Making them the best outdoor speakers.Features - I really like some of the cool features that are worth mentioning like the ability to pause/play the music by just tapping on the sides of the speaker. The huge volume control buttons that are synonyms with UE speakers. The ability to know the charge left by pressing both + & - together. The super awesome feature that let you connect with all the other UE speaker.Price - let's be honest, is high enough to make you think twice if you really need this speaker and there all always those cheap and pretty speakers trying to lure you. I myslef had to wait for the Big Billion Sale with an additional bank discount before buong them. But i really regret waiting this long. Trust me guys good things comes at a price, a price that you won't regret at all. Forget about those cheap bluetooth speakers even the good ones like Jbl and Bose(yes even Bose) in the same and a little higher price range don't come anyway near this beautiful Beast Boom 2. And just in case you are an audiophile, you will already know this that good sound never comes at a cheap price.Hope you will make an informed choice.

Great sound, in a sturdy, compact package -- what more can anyone ask for? I researched carefully before buying, and I am satisfied that nothing else in its price range can match its quality. The Amazon Echo and Google Home may have all sorts of smart features that the UE Boom 2 lacks, but the smart features are manufactured needs, and neither compares in sound quality.

The UE Boom 2 is simply the best Bluetooth speaker on the market. Amazing sound, rugged construction, and waterproof. The app that comes with this allows for easy control and sound customisation.The battery lasts a long time. I will use mine for several days before needing to recharge.

If you buy this expecting to connect them together, don't bother. The app on android is nearly impossible to connect them together. You can easily connect them together without the app by using the device buttons, but either way the quality of sound from the secondary speaker is terrible. The sound output glitches and pops constantly on the second speaker. This is the case even when they are within a foot. As for the individual sound quality, it's tinny and not terribly clear which is average for most Bluetooth speakers.

Great somud, easily connects to my phone with Bluetooth, can turn it on from my phone. Great feature.
