I have been through quite a few phone holders for my ebike handlebars; everything from silicone wraps to fully articulated mounts that are best suited for motorcylcle bars. I have seen this design and the push down tab seems like a good idea for being able to easily mount and unmount the phone from the holder. My hesitancy with this design is the idea of adding something to the back of my phone case that is still there when I am off of the bike. To mitigate that, I got a second phone case just for the mounting pad. It is easy enough to get my iPhone in and out of the two cases, so that is not a big problem. I also found that I don’t really mind the additional mount on the case since it does not protrude as much as I had thought.My rides take me over trail, gravel, and dirt and the mount has been working great so far. I did remove the extender bar (if that is what it is called) and have my mounting hardware directly connected to the bar mount. I found that installing the bar mount first made it easier to get to the screws to tighten it to the bar. I have not tried the additional mount with the isolation rubber, but I would expect that to be more helpful on a motorcycle due to the amount of vibration caused by the engine.I give this product a strong recommendation and regret not giving it a try sooner.

I have the original Out Front mount for my gravel bike I wanted to get a mount for my mountain bike without having to spend the exorbitant price tag the original holds. To my surprise, a vibration absorption mount was included, I'm not sure if this is normal as it is not described in the listing.This kit is complete with everything you need to hold your phone to your bike. I suggest getting some better mounting tape though, it comes with what amounts to be double stick tape that I wouldn't trust.The mount is rotatable on both ends (bar side and phone end) so mounting it has a lot of possibilities. You can even remove the extension arm and go directly to the bar mount. This makes it more flexible than the original and is a huge plus.Finally, it is compatible with the more expensive mount, sort of. It does go on with some fiddling without modification. However, if you check the fourth and fifth photo in my review, you'll see there is a little tab in each of the cutouts for the ears on the mount. I had to shave these off to get it to fit.
