Boom Arm Micophone, Mic Arm Desk Mount Foldable with 3/8'' to 5/8'' Screw Adapter Adjustable Mic Stand for Podcasting Gaming Recording - White

I have three computers set up and I use them for making videos and streaming, so having boom arms on all of them presents a different challenge depending on the desk and other setup arrangements that I have. So I use this one on a recording station where I don't have as much desk space, and having a low profile boom arm isn't as convenient so this was perfect for giving me the desk space that I need while being able to have my microphone in a position that is convenient.This was easy to install and set up, and it held my microphone up just fine, no drooping. It moves easily and I don't feel like I'm going to get pinched like I have with other ones in the past, because this one has more fluid movements. I also like that it's white it matches my color scheme and it is definitely doing the job that I need it to do, so I'm very happy with it. It's attractive and it's affordable, I'm glad that I got it.

I have three microphones. One weighs about 8 ounces. The second one ways about 1.5 LBS and the big professional one weighs about 4.5 LBS. I tried this out on all three. The first one was fine. The second one was good but sagged slowly so periodically I would have to reposition it. The last one sunk it in two seconds. No amount of adjusting would hold that 4.5 LBS steady. So I can only recommend this for light weight equipment and not for professional studio use. I would say this is good for home use or for a home studio or perhaps on the go blogging where you don't want heavy equipment. But if you use professional equipment get a more sturdy boom.

For the price, it’s really sturdy and aesthetic. I gave it only 4 stars because the box was really beat up and I had some struggle with the threading for the part that screws into your mic, but overall it’s pretty good quality.

If you're thinking you might need one of these, then you need one of these. And since you may be needing one, this one is a solid buy. A few small but smart features elevate this. The base and the arm are separate, which makes it much easier to position and tighten the base. There is a thread adapter so you can use your mic's mount and a 'chip-clip' type clamp for general mic holding. Several clips are included to route your cable tightly to the arm, and several included velcro cable ties can be used to reel in loose cables that may make noise. Eliminating table mics is a step toward more professional content, and this arm gets it done. I was surprised by how little this arm costs; and the white one is often priced lower than the black one, making for a really good deal.

I have never used one of these mic booms before but have been wanting to change over to studio headphones for a better sound quality and comfort through those long gaming sessions. This arm has been fantastic as the overall quality is extremely well made and durable, with the amount of adjustment throughout the arm helps to ensure you can properly place it in a desirable location. I am using this arm with the Hyper X Quadcast and loving every minute of it. The mic was quickly easy to attach to the arm and the cable management easily contained in the arm to give that nice clean look. The swivel of the arm is a great benefit when not in use so you can easily swing it out of the way. If you are looking to change your setup but don’t want to spend a large amount of money on a mic boom this one is a great entry level unit!

This mic arm is decent. The only downside I have had with it, is that when the arm connects to the stand and you have to tighten it. The issue is that it’s not tight enough, so when you move the arm it lifts a little from the mounting point. For the most part it’s good, but the arm not having a solid feeling to the base makes it just okay and not perfect.

It’s made by of a good metal material that holds up very stable. It’s easy to set up, comes with everything you need for that. Our microphone attaches onto it just right . Very easy to maneuver. I like how it can bend all kinds of ways. It’s very comfortable to use. Easy to put away when not in use. I like that it looks very good of the screen. Very professional . It has a protective rubber to make sure it won’t scratch your table , very thoughtful manufacturing. High quality product. For the price you pay it’s definitely worth to get this product, especially if you are in need of one. Great stand! In general, I think it can be used for gaming, podcasts, or any other recordings that require a microphone stand for a comfortable use. Definitely recommend it!

i love this desk mount boom arm!!. it is sturdy and not weak like many other brands. i wish i would've purchased two of these to have matching sets for my two person podcasts!! i may have to purchase another one so my ocd doesn't get the best of me haha.
