MALE, USING THIS ON MY FACIAL HAIR, and it is the best hair removal device I've found. 1) this was the only brand I bought that would actually work on my face. I bought 2 Silk'n brand devices, and neither of them would trigger on my face, rendering them unusable. 2) it is actually removing my facial hair! Since that hair is THICK, it takes commitment. I have been using it every other day for about 2 months. All of my facial hair has thinned, and some patches have been completely removed, so realistically speaking, I think 5 to 6 months of use will get rid of all of it. I have extremely coarse hair on my legs and underarms and with that also comes ingrown hairs! This WORKS! You must be consistent but it works! I’ve had this over a year and I slacked off during the winter with the maintenance part but I only shave 1 time a week! This product will do exactly what it says it will! (Legs, bikini, underarms, and face!)

This thing is incredible!!! I have dark thick hair and my bikini line and armpits always have red bumps and bad razor burn from shaving. Using this device drastically reduces my hair growth. The headache this thing is saving me from with the bikini line battles I’ve been through every time swimsuit season rolls along is amazing. When I’m consistent in the beginning, with doing a lot of regular treatments, then the treatments become way faster and way less frequent, and then the hair doesn’t grow back at all as long as you use this device every once in a while when you start to notice a little hair growth. This means I shave way less (because you do need to shave before doing an IPL treatment) and I don’t get razor bumps because I’m shaving such small, thin amounts of hair. I took an 8 month break from using this device because I was pregnant and too tired to use it, my hair grew in very slowly and even at the end of the 8 months it was still not growing back as thick as my hair naturally is and now that I’ve started using the device again post pregnancy the results are coming back way faster than they did when I very first started using the device pre pregnancy. This device is magic! It’s powerful, the cooling feature works great, the cord is nice and long, it is worth every penny! I am so glad I found something that works, finally!

Read all the instructions carefully. This may tingle on tattoos. And it will not work on hair that is coming out of moles. Also, it will not work on gray hairs, like chin hairs on older women. It seems to work well for underarms and legs. Shave first and make sure there's no lotion or leftover soap, etc. on your skin prior to using it. I didn't experience any pain using it. I did feel the rush of cold air, which was great! After I used it the first time, I sort of felt like I had a mild sunburn on my legs, but I didn't feel it on any of the repeat uses.

I was so excited about this product. Got the unit and started using it immediately, and got noticeable results pretty quickly! It was quick, painless and the results were showing. Unfortunately only 16 days after receiving it, it stopped working. Couldn’t get it to work at all, the sensor was showing it was ready, but seemed like the bulbs died. Ordered a replacement in hopes of the first one just being a fluke, but again after 14 days same problem. Super sad cause the results were great, my legs were soft on day 2, razor burn gone, strawberry legs gone. I hope the results I did get remain, but who knows. Seems just like this product needed some extra time in testing or something. Pretty expensive item for 2 weeks of use.

I think it’s time I write a review for this product, and right off the bat I can say this is money well spent. I will include some things I would have liked to know before I got the product, but over all I highly recommend!The product instructions recommend doing the treatment every other day or every three days. Just because of my schedule, that wasn’t something I was able to do, but at this point I have done 10 sessions over 7 weeks and already about 80% of my leg hair is gone! You can see a few small areas where the hair is still coming in, and I am doing targeted treatments now. Even the areas that are still growing back are growing much slower. It’s amazing how well it works.Also, other areas on my body are already completely done like my armpits, and my happy trail. It only took a few sessions for these areas to stop growing all together. I will say that it leaves a bit of a 5 o clock shadow, like you can see the dormant follicle just under the skin still. Maybe it isn’t as completely nude looking as waxing, but a win is a win. I will never have to remove these hairs again.It is a process that you have to commit a lot of time to, so if you’re a busy person or don't have a lot of patience, don’t expect you’ll be able to do it every other day. However, even if you take your time over a few months it will definitely work. I also will say the areas where you have more of a tan will take longer, because it’s harder for the laser to differentiate the skin and hair follicle. If you have any visible stubble at all, don’t waste time treating it because the laser won’t be able to target the follicle. It’ll aim towards the surface where it detects your new growth. These are also the times you might feel a sting or zap because the laser is aiming at your skin. Other than that, there is no pain at all.If you stay on top of using this, you will get great results.

When you use it for a while, like to do legs or arms. The light stops working and you have to unplug it and plug it back in, which I have been doing. Now today it happened and it won't work at all. It turns on but when I push the button it doesn't work and it's been over a hour. Usually it's only about 10 seconds and I plug it back in and it works. I have only had it 42 days and of course don't use it every day. Not very happy to pay this kind of money and have to deal with this. Tried to chat with customer service and all I can get from that is, " sorry it's past the time to be able to return it." I don't want to return it, I want it to work!
