It's super soft foam, and the texture is just like very soft white bread. Smushes the same, too. Then it repoofs slowly.The most interesting thing is the smell. It smells just like sweet bread. On first unpacking, there's a mild chemical odor that clears quickly and just leaves the bread scent.

This is soft and realistic. It squeezes very easily. It is quite large too. It feels like angel food cake. I love the details on the bun. It is fun to use as pretend food for younger ones. It’s also a neat fidget. I wouldn’t squeeze when stressed but maybe when thinking. I love the softness of it. It is so light and airy.

I have actually never had a slow-rising squishy before, and my goodness!! I don't have the ability to compare to other slow-risers, but it certainly seems to live up to the name! I almost wish it sprung back a little faster, so I didn't have to wait so long to squish it again. This squishy is unbelievably soft to the touch, and once the initial plastic-y manufacturing smell wore off, does smell faintly of bread! The paint job on it is very nice, it looks delicious.
