Mtd 490-040-M035 Line Trimmer Line Genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Part

I purchased these for my Cub Cadet string trimmer along with a cheaper option. These lasted FOUR TIMES as long as the cheaper ones! Making them worth the money....We live on a small farm and I HATE weed-eaters, they do a real number on my back. This Cub Cadet string trimmer is a welcome change! I use it mostly for fence lines, around buildings and around obstacles in the yard and around the trees in the pasture. These trimmer lines work like a champ and I have to change them out a LOT less often than the cheaper ones I bought.BP

I’ve been unable to get these trimmer twines. They do fit the best. . But I really like the dependably of my Cub Cadet. So. I’ve been using any other .155 trimmer BUT I’ve had to either use double trimmer twines or I use a piece of heavy wire in place of the first wire, then any other trimmer lone works just fine. I hope Cub Cadet can find a new, possibly USA manufacturer for this trimmer line.

Good product. I haven't found any string that holds up long on my walk behind trimmer. High price for the lifespan.

These are as reliable as the mower and perform as promised, on my fourth year of buying.

This trimmer line is easy to install, durable, and functional. It is the best I have found.

Didn’t want to go out because of covid so ordered these . They work great . Just like the ones from Home Depot price was about the same or less because I didn’t impulse by another flashlight or do dad.
