If you love your reference quality HD650s, Think twice - Reasonable value but at an aesthetic cost.
The original, beautifully designed, reference quality headphones from Sennheiser. The HD650 looks great, sounds great and will last a lifetime (with regular ear pad replacements). This is the problem, this SOULWIT set of replacements fundamentally changes the aesthetics and fit of the HD650s. Due to the complex nature of their construction they cannot match the refined balanced appearance and feel of the original. My ears do not really heat up as with any open backed design there is plenty of natural cooling taking place so the cooling gel is of limited and as yet unproven effect..They offer no more comfort than that of the soft originals as the SOULWIT are in a flatter more compressive fit on my own head but it is the colour choice that is strange and to the detriment of the overall experience of owning and using the HD650s in my own subjective opinion.I do not think the sound quality is lower or changed but valuing the original product as I do, my next set of replacement pads will be back to the original unless I have really learned to love these SOULWITs in the meanwhile.Result - worth a try to save some money (which we all like) - better than most other more budget alternatives I've seen and you get to choose again when the next replacements are required.

Better than the official Sennheiser ones
For my money these are far better than the more expensive official Sennheiser ear-pad replacements, which I have bought before now for my trusty HD 580 cans.1. They present a good flat surface around your ears over a larger area compared to the smaller rounded surface that the Sennheiser ear-pads present. This really helps distribute the pressure in a much more comfortable way while also reducing any slippage.2. The fabric that touches your skin is MUCH finer and more comfortable than the relatively coarse cloth that Sennheiser use. That cloth really seems to accumulate sweat and gunk.3. They are not lying about the cooling effect. It is not dramatic, nor is it magic, but it is noticeably better than the Sennheiser product. I have tried it over sessions of more than an hour.4. The construction seems solid and durable. Of course only time will tell, but I expect them to last a good deal longer than the Sennheiser product. As for fitting them, it's just the same as any other ear-pad replacement for this family. If it's your first time, don't worry about being a bit bold about pressing them in until they click North, South East and West.Al in all, not only a replacement but a minor upgrade. Very happy.

"Cooling gel" gimmick
These replacement pads provide good quality for a price (they about 2/3 price of genuine pads for HD600). And I'd say they provide about 2/3 of value of genuine pad.First, they make some tall claims that original pad "has inadequate padding becoming flat over time". If this credible? I'd say not quite - in my experience original pads are still more comfortable as they have much more softer plush cover. Yes, eventually foam will wear down and start losing shape, still I had HD600 for several years now using daily and wear barely becomes noticeable. And I have no proof that this pad will actually last for longer - will have to test for several years to comment on this. Also genuine pads are toroidal (round) in profile, while these pads are square. Which actually leaves less space for the ear since it moves contact patch closer to ear. I have moderate-sized ears and they fit almost exactly - they somewhat touch ears which original pads didn't, but still fit a-ok. However anyone with larger ears probably will not be comfortable. And lastly about this "cooling gel". Yes, it does make it very cold on touch when you first put headphones on - actually almost too cold for comfort. And it stays cool for like ~5-10 minutes - then they heat up, and they actually feel *hotter* on the long run than genuine pads (again, probably due to less breathable materials and smaller space on the inside due to square profile). Manufacturer provides plastic pipette inside packaging seriously saying you should keep moistening gel with cold water droplets "for optimal cooling effect" - all this will achieve is make them even colder for ~10 minutes and less comfortable, then you will need to take headphones off and repeat since they will heat up again. So in a nutshell - they worth the cheaper price I guess, quality is reasonable (save that I am not sure for how long they will actually), but I'd rather to pay extra 10 pounds and get genuine Sennheiser replacement instead.

Headphone earpads for Sennheiser
Really great replacement earpads for my Sennheiser HD600 headphones. Good instruction sheets included. Easy to fit. Very comfortable for prolonged listening, fit over my ears brilliantly. Highly recommended.

Different, but equally good
I bought these after I wore a hole through the foam screen where the edge of my ear touched them inside the earcups. Instead of just replacing the foam I assumed that the earcup surround had also become flat, so bought these because it has both parts. These are definitely holding the headphones away from the bumpy bits of my ear now. Needed to push the edges of the new ones quite firmly in to the headphones to get a click and am very happy with the fit and sound. These are not the same plush fabric as the original part but feel firmer and equally comfortable.

Cooling but it doesn't last long
I bought these to combat hot ears during the summer. These work great for the first 10-15 minutes where it cools you down. They are a bit of a surprise almost how cold they are! However... in that time, your head will warm them up. After about 15 minutes, they are roughly the same temperature as your head but have zero breathability. I found that I would need to take the pads off entirely for longer duration use as I would start to get really hot!

Well-made, neutral-sounding ear pads for the Sennheiser HD6** family.
While a good set of headphones will last you a lifetime, the ear pads must be replaced regularly. Foam decays and affects sound quality, and ear pads can get quite grimy. Sennheiser recommends replacing ear pads yearly.I've used the SOULWIT replacement cushions for other headphones, so I was confident that these would meet my two requirements: one, neutral sounding, and two, easy to install. The SOULWIT wins on both. While the Senn 650s are not as affected by non-OEM ear pads as Grados are, a poorly designed ear pad can change a headphone's signature sound. As a bonus, the SOULWITs are easy to install, and a step-by-step illustrated instruction sheet walks you through the process. STEP THREE IS THE MOST CRUCIAL STEP, SO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY. New inner foam sheets are included, but my OEMs were still good, so I did not install these. The SOULWIT ear pads are not just a replacement; they're an upgrade in comfort. The fabric's wicking nature keeps your ears cool, enhancing your listening experience. In conclusion, the SOULWIT ear pads are not only a high-quality replacement but also a budget-friendly option. They're well-built and affordable, making them a smart choice for those grungy ear pads you should have changed months ago! Yes, I'm talking to you! :-)

Good Alternative to Stock Pads
These are great for me. They are the first pad I’ve tried on my 6xx’s that haven’t negatively changed the sound. The hd 600s and all the subsequent versions are notoriously pad sensitive and many audiophiles claim the stock pads are the only way to go but $50 or more is way to much to pay for those cheap pads that don’t perform like new for very long. These pads did change the sound slightly. Made the sound ever so slightly more V shaped than stock (slight boost to lows and highs) but not in a bad way. They are very comfortable to me but if you are sensitive to your ears touching the foam in front of the driver you might not like these. They compress more than the stock pads but this also has the added bonus of higher volume because your ear is closer to the driver. The cooling surface is comfortable but isn’t mind blowing cool or anything. I really like these and will be buying a few back ups in case they go out of production.

Awesome
Fit the HD 6XX from Drop perfectly. The slight noise isolation these pads provide, actually enhance the bass slightly which is a positive for me. Very comfortable and provide a larger gap between the headphone speaker and your ear compared to the stock earpads, so less fatigue on your ears.

Pads fit perfectly fine with the HD6XX
These pads offers AMAZING comfort, however there is a slight change to the tone of the HD6XX and that it does make the sound slightly more warm when compared to the stock HD6XX earpads. Do note that it's best that you use the original foam pads that came with your HD6XX as the new ones that come with these earpads drastically change the sound and make it way too warm where you lose out most of the vocals and it's no longer intimate anymore. Earpads 5/5, foam pad 1/5.
