"Android Guy" approved - Pricey, but it has the goods. Worth it.
Well I'm not really an Apple guy, I've got a Pixel phone and a Pixel watch and a PC with Windows and a Linux VM. I'm a pretty staunch opponent to paying the so called "Apple Tax". I bought this for my wife for Mother's Day because she kept telling me she wanted an iPad instead of another Windows laptop. But I really ended up liking it myself more than I thought I would. What struck me after setting it up was that this is really a pretty unique device. The thing is, you can't really get this combination of size, speed and features in any Android tablet, and a Windows tablet, well, doesn't seem appealing to say the least. Samsung makes a 14.6" tablet but it's a 16:9 design (really long and rectangular) whereas the 13" iPad is a 4:3 design (more square) which makes it much more easy to carry around. The Google Pixel tablet is a pretty nice tablet but it only comes in an 11" size if you want a true tablet as opposed to something more like a laptop. As for the iPad Pro, well, everything is pretty awesome. Besides the aforementioned things, it's the fastest Apple device I've ever used, and I've had lots of work issued iPhones. The screen quality is extremely high. Animations, transitions and windows moving around are liquid smooth. Video quality is outstanding, you can watch YouTubes in 4K and it's smooth as can be. The WiFi speed also seems better than my other devices for whatever reason, it's very responsive. The Apple Store for iPads is also a much richer ecosystem than the Google Play Store, when you're talking about apps that are truly optimized for the tablet experience instead of the phone experience. I have a number of apps on my cheap Android tablet that really aren't optimized for the bigger screen, they're just phone apps that are schlepped on there. Not so with iPad, most of the apps are really optimized for the tablet form factor. That's just something else that improves the experience. We also have had no issues with aftermarket accessories. I took a chance and I purchased it with a 3rd party keyboard and 3rd party pencil and there have been zero issues with either. My wife also plugged in her mouse from her Windows laptop that uses a USB dongle and that worked fine also after I handed her a USB-A to USB-C converter. This device has a premium price, but it does not disappoint. The value for the money is there, the user experience is clearly superior to other tablets. Thankfully I got it while Amazon was running a sale, so that helped.I highly recommend the iPad Pro if you can get past the price tag. You will not be disappointed.

Simply awesome ipad for a 3 yr old user
I bought this ipad for me. But my toddler baby has taken it over permanently. He calls it "itad". LOL. The only time I am "allowed" to touch ipad is when it needs Charging. Honestly, if a 3 year old can operate this iPad Pro M4 then absolutely anyone can use it. It's a testament of how Apple has nailed the user experience. Congrats Apple. To our surprise our 3 year old learned by himself how to use Stage Manager, switch apps, Maximize/Minimize/Close apps. He hasn't learned to properly manipulate volume yet. Because one time he tried to do that. In that process he increased volume to Maximum and got scared because the music he was playing went so loud. I think now he is afraid to push volume buttons. I bought a folio case for ipad, sturdy metal height and tilt adjustable stand, and pencil pro. I am trying to teach my son how to use Pencil. But his fingers are so tiny that he can't hold it in his fingers properly. But he loves the Pencil and holds it with all 5 fingers and try to use it on ipad. I don't like that because he tends to push the pencil much harder than I think the delicate screen can tolerate. Apple should make Ultra-light weight pencil and indestructible screen. Toddlers and parents worldwide will be extremely happy. There are so many educational, entertaining apps for children on Apple store that we don't buy toys and other gadgets anymore. Of course this could be a good or bad, depending upon how you look at it. We as parents are traditionalists. But I think our son loves technology and uses it to his advantage. Our hope is that he learns while getting entertained. If you are a parent of small child then consider buying ipad (any model), it will really help your children learn - tracing alphabets, numbers, shapes. Match letters, make words from letters, play math games, match shapes and colors and much much more. Your kids will love it. Btw the color quality is just awesome because it's an OLED screen. The HDR videos become SO bright that you will need to reduce brightness. This ipad although it's Pro version, the battery lasts for a long time. I recommend anyone to set 80% as maximum battery charging level. This will improve battery life in the long run. Thank you Apple for making this wonderful product.

Better Tools = Better Artwork
I am so enjoying my iPad Pro! I'm not one to spend money on myself and had initially gone for a tablet where you view your sketch on a monitor and not on the tablet itself. I had several years of experience sketching on blank tablets when that was your only choice so it was not a challenge for me. However, now that I'm (way) older, further along in my art, and financially "not a starving artist," I am so happy I've made this investment! What a difference it is to see your art on the tablet itself! The best part is being able to turn the sketch to make arches in the direction of your pencil swing which is almost impossible to do while looking at a monitor. Believe in your artwork and spoil yourself with the iPad Pro! Oh, and comments on it's performance...it's an Apple. What more is there to say?
