Lil' Garden Gnome Infant Costume

This costume is adorable and hysterical! We received so many compliments from so many people. My son is currently 15 months and the costume fit him well. He did end up taking the hat off twice but for the most part he wore it for the majority of the time. We had very light clothing on underneath the costume because it is pretty thick and I didn't want him to get overheated. You'll have to use your best judgement depending on the weather in your area. The wrist holes we're a little small as the other comments mentioned but I was able to get his hands through.

This costume is GREAT quality for being a costume!! It's not too thick but not too thin either. It is always so cold for trick or treat that I hate how most costumes are so thin. This will be perfect to just leave a onesie and pants under with this on top. It doesn't show bulky clothes then and there will be no need for a jacket (unless it is super cold that day), for this is a nice warm material. The little booties with it are adorable and made to stay on, which is great with a 1 year old. It is TTS, but I found a bit challenging to get off of my son. Either way, I think it adorable and well made for being a costume!

My son looked adorable in this! I have a couple small complaints- the beard is attached by velcro on the inside of the ears, my son's head was a little large for the hat and we couldn't have him wear the beard because of how it connects, it covered his mouth. There should be a larger piece of velcro or multiple pieces so you can adjust the beard. Also it's too easy for little ones to pull right off, so maybe elastic instead of velcro would be better.The outfit is all one piece so kind of hard to get on, a top and bottoms would be easier. Seems to be great quality though!Seriously though, this costume is so cute and my son looked adorable. We were a gnome family and a big hit!

This is a very cute and well made costume! Love it for his first Halloween!I chose the Small size for my 10 month old. He is just over 20 pounds and around 27 inches tall. The fit is very good, not too big and just right on the length. Even the hat/beard fit well on him. My main complaint on the size is the sleeves are way too slim. I had a very hard time getting his chubby hands through the sleeves since I couldn't fit my fingers in there to help pull his arm through. There was a lot of angry crying at this point.The costume is all one piece and you put it on the child by unbuttoning the pant area and slipping it over the head. There's a zipper at the top to let the head through and the neck velcros closed. It is comprised of two layers, the outer soft layer and a liner which kind of feels like polyester. Really like that the two layers provide enough protection to wear on a cold autumn night, but I recommend putting your baby in a short sleeve onesie to protect his skin.The costume is not meant to be washed, but we did put it into the dryer on the steam cycle to kind of freshen it up. We threw in the costume and the hat/beard. A note here...the steam cycle softened up the liner in the hat so it got a little floppy. Still worked once he wore it, but it doesn't have the perfect conical point anymore.Biggest CON: The sleeves are too darn slim. To aggravate the situation even more, the liner is only attached to the outer layer at the hands and feet. This meant that the liner moved a lot when I was pulling my baby's hands through. When I finally was able to get his hand all the way through after struggling for over 5 minutes on just one hand, about 4 inches of liner protruded out of the sleeve. To solve this, I had to hold the end of the sleeve, reach inside and tug the liner back. This is not an easy thing with a squirmy angry baby who is hot because we had been trying to put his costume on for a while. To try and help solve this problem, I sewed the liner to the outer layer at a few points around the shoulder area to try and keep it in place. Haven't tried it out yet, but I might help!Overall, even with this huge pain in the butt over the sleeves, it still is a very cute outfit. Everyone thought he was the most adorable baby in it.

I LOVE this costume. Very well-made. High quality. I die laughing when I put this on my 14 month old. I got the 12-18 month size for him and it fits great with just a little room to grow into. The hat with beard is amazing. It fits his head perfectly. It stands up well on its own. I seriously cannot brag enough about this costume. I just hope it isn't too warm on Halloween as it is pretty well insulated. Oh and the shoes. Hilarious. You have to get this costume if you come across it!! I highly recommend!

This costume was fantastic! We live in a colder climate and this costume was nice and warm for our baby. It fit as expected and he even won a costume contest with it! Everyone in the neighborhood complimented his adorable and unique outfit. The only change I would recommend is to the beard. It is cheap velcro that is holding it on and the slightest tug will make it fall off. I used safety pins to hold it on and that worked great. If you are looking for a fun costume that will get your baby noticed this is it!

The hat and the beard fit perfectly the shoes and the outfit were much bigger then I expected and it's almost impossible to bring it in to have a better fit. I thought about returning for a smaller size but if I did that the hat and beard would be way to small. I like that the cloth for the outfit part is thicker then some costumes to help keep baby warm going out for Halloween. Over all I'm good with this costume and can make it work.

Adorable costume but my adorable baby was too big. Nice quality, highly recommended for smaller babies.

The Costume was Great. Super cute. It did not come with the booties which was disappointing but we went with rubber boots instead.

The eyebrows were sewn crookedly, and the sleeve holes were so small that I had to cut the cuffs off in order to get it on my son.
