The media could not be loaded. THE GOOD:----------------* The very essence of a "technological marvel."* Extremely giftable to techies and people who are into vintage tvs.* Must use their Tiny TV Converter software to make your video files compatible. It's a fairly quick converter. My 330 mb twilight zone files turns into a 30 to 50 mb file in about 30 seconds.* The tv mimics live television. Each video file you add is its own channel. So if you add 10 movies, you will have 10 live channels. In a normal video player, when you select the next file, the movie will start from the beginning, but not with this Tiny TV. When you start the tv, all the channels will start at the same time. So selecting the next file is like channel surfing, because the other movie files will already have started, thus, mimicking live tv.* Each channel will loop back when it's over. So each channel is just repeating the same file over and over. So here's an idea... instead separate files of the same show, you can use a program to stitch a bunch of episodes together, so it will truly feel like a channel dedicated to one show. Do this for several different shows, so you can have different channels playing multiple episodes of a particular show. This will truly feel like tv, instead of looping back to the same movie/episode. But remember to stitch the files before running it through the Tiny TV converter.* Now if you don't find the "live tv" feature appealing, and you wish for it to play files in a traditional way, meaning start each video file from the beginning, then there is a simple fix. Your computer sees the tv as a flash drive, and inside this flash drive is a notepad text document. All the settings are in this document. One of the settings says: liveVideo=true. So all you have to do is change true to false, so make it liveVideo=false. Now your files will all start from the beginning. Remember to SAVE the changes, for it to take effect.THE BAD:--------------* Although the Tiny TV converter software is fast, transfering files to the tv itself is painfully slow.* The volume is also painfully low. But what do you expect when this thing is as big as the index of your finger? LOL!* It's not great for black and white shows. Although my Twilight Zone files shows up pretty well in the photos and close up while video recording, the picture is dark in real life. Color videos like the demo files they included show up much better in real life.* Now I've read other reviews wondering what's the purpose of this? And if they read my review, they would probably think I'm crazy. LOL! The point, for people like me, isn't about actually "watching" tv. Who are we kidding, I'm never going to watch even one episode of anything on this tiny thing. So why go through everything I mentioned above? Because It's fun for techies and tinkerers to waste time on this type of stuff. LOL! To see an idea come to life.* Having said all that... I collect real vintage tvs, and I do set them up to mimic live tv playing my favorite old shows, so this tiny tv falls right into my wheelhouse. The fact that it tries to mimic live tv was a pleasant surprise. 5-Stars baby!
