nice length for an exercise class in the pool
I am giving it 5 stars because they sort of fit, although I would have liked the waist to fit like the picture. I have not worn them in the pool because I got them for a class beginning next month. I hope they hold up.

Please keep making these WITH "LINERS"
I bought my first pair of these last August for swimming in an indoor Aquacenter chlorinated pool. I bought the Navy and it does show a little fading but is still a good NAVY color. There isn't a suit made that won't fade to some degree in chlorine pools and you should always wash your suit after use in a chlorine pool.. I've paid big $$$ for high end suits that eventually faded. These are fabulous swim shorts for the price and I just now bought a second pair in black.. I'm 5'6" and am a 'hippy' size 26. These were perfect ...not real tight but firm enough they stay up well when wet. As far as the panty lining....PLEASE KEEP MAKING them WITH the liners. All the indoor pool/aqua centers in my area REQUIRE a liner in ALL swim shorts for both men and women. Yes, if they fit really snug...that liner is going to show prominently. However, it's not so bad if the suit isn't so tight, the suit stretches some when wet so the liner's not all that prominent. Besides, it's for SWIMMING... so who see's it when you're in the water? I really LIKE the liner... because the seams in this type of suit material are very narrow and will, eventually, let loose at some point. With the liner... at least my arse is still covered! If you are more daring.... just clip the panty part out of the suit and go commando.Additional info...This summer I used these swim shorts WITH THE LINER (yeah!) as an 'under garment' to a pair of fuschia colored knit capris that showed every ripple I owned. These smoothed out the ripples and controlled the 'bounce'. Hey... that's dual service on a really great item.

Panty is a challenge but doable!
I love these bike shorts! I laughed when I pulled them out of the box thinking that there was no way I would fit into them. I’m 5’5” and about 200 lbs 🙄. I slid them on and they got all of me in them with no strain on the seams. The panty takes some getting used to. Sadly, my middle would remind you of a semi-deflated beach ball and at first it felt like I was wearing something akin to a thong...which I have never seen the sense of wearing even if I could! But after prancing around in the bike shorts I found that eventually they stretched somewhat and I realized I was pretty comfortable. So off to my 1st water aerobics class for the ultimate test. My swim shirt was long enough to hide my sagging middle👍🏼 and you couldn’t see a panty line. After an hour in the water, the pant legs stayed in place, the seams held and the panty, thank heavens, did not encroach further into the netherlands! All in all, I really like the bike shorts and I would recommend them. To the maker...work on that panty and use a bit more material for the more voluptuous woman!

and my doctor recommended swimming. Well
These really were a godsend. I am a large woman. I'm talking Size 26-28, 375+ lbs, and all in all, have a big ole tummy and thighs. I lay all this bare as I would never have the gumption to put up a picture, but feel anyone reading reviews should have a clear idea. Anyways, I got these because I wanted to become more active, and my doctor recommended swimming. Well, as any large woman will tell you, getting into a tiny skirt and not wanting to die is a rare sight. At least for me. So I looked at sizing and figured for $20, why not? When I got them, I was worried they were too small. But as Jane Fonda showed in the 80's, spandex and lycra do not exclude anyone from their trappings. A little finagling, and I was in these puppies. And loved them. They went to right at or above my knee depending on how I got them on, and gave me so much comfort in swimming. They were light, they were comfortable, and they provided me with coverage without being overbearing. A couple of notes: you cannot wear these over already slippery swimwear, such as a one-piece. It will fall right down. Get yourself a tankini top; the shorts come up high enough that you won't need to worry. Also, these fit as expected/maybe were a dash small, so I'd get true to size, if not bigger. All in all, these were a lifesaver. I can't get into shape if I'm so uncomfortable in public that I'm immobile, and these helped to bridge the gap. Very pleased all around.

The best quality I can mention is for anyone super sensitive ...
Oh man! Finally something that includes rash guard and a panty in one! I wear these under skirts, pants, or by themselves for workout, etc. The best quality I can mention is for anyone super sensitive to elastic: the leg elastic is covered on the INSIDE of the panty part, so I don't have an allergic reaction to them! I also can use custom cloth panty liners if desired, without having to wear underwear, then bike shorts, etc UNDER my clothing. If you have full thighs, you will understand why this is SUCH a great thing! I have literally spent $100's and $100's of dollars trying to find something like this that wasn't seamed, etc with exposed elastic. I mean, ladies, I've purchased the British Bloomers only to have the leg seams break me out in a rash. And these are incredibly priced and well made. I started with 2 pair to try, then was almost heartbroken when they were out of stock just days later! Thankfully, they are BACK in stock and I ordered another 3 pair! I'm going to toss out SO MANY ICKY bike shorts to make room for these lovelies! AND, they are QUICK DRY for swimming, exercise, etc. etc. LOVE 'EM!
