Strong flavor, with a great aroma. It has helped my digestive system. The bag preserves it's freshness and every time you open it, you can smell and feel it.

A great scent and taste

I've never had knotgrass tea before, but it's supposed to be good for the digestive system. This is loose leaf tea and it comes in a box with a plastic bag full of bulk tea inside. The directions say to brew a couple if teaspoons for 15 minutes. So I used a mug with a stainless brewer and cover to brew this tea for 15 minutes. After it was finished brewing, it was still a fairly light color -- I expected it to be darker after 15 minutes. The flavor is fairly gentle. It's not particularly sweet but not bitter either. It's very earthy, like your drinking fragrant twigs -- because you are. Overall, it was a pleasant enough experience, and I will keep drinking it. It would have been nice if the inner bag of tea was resealable. I put the whole bag into a ziploc bag to keep it fresh.
