Klein Tools 625-32 Triple Taps 6-32, 8-32, 10-32

I have been using this tool to turn 6-32 sized screw holes into 8-32 sized holes on single-gang mud rings when I find them stripped out or not threaded properly. It works like a charm!I've probably only done about 20 taps since I've had it, so I can't say much about longevity yet.

Had a switch where one of the holes was cross threaded, didn't know it until after it was wired up and in the box and I was putting the faceplate on it. Could have swapped the switch out but there was no reason to do so as it was new. This tool paid for itself in 3 minutes. If you're a do-it-yourself kind of person, and wiring your house is in your wheelhouse, you want this tool. You will eventually have a need for it.

This tool really does the job this is the second one that I had to get because the first one broke but it puts the socket right back in place where it's supposed to be.

A must have tool for the four square holes or the 4/11 screw holes.. the strip out easy or if a drywaller gets happy with the paste and covers it up

I've been looking for a similar tool a Craftsman' tap handle shaped like a screw driver, seems to be out of production. Our machinist made a mod to a spacer combined with this tool and it was good enough for my purpose.But if your in the field and encounter a bad or cross threaded hole this can enable you to avoid just powering through with a screw in hope that "A" it works and "B" you never come across that screw again. I think it's size and cost justifies it's being an option.

Used this on some electrical boxes where some 'rookie' used drywall screws and ruined the threads. A few twists with this tool and the threads are good as new!

Everyone should have one , never used a screwdriver so much , bigger than I thought but 3 different thread sizes on it

Great little tool! Fits nicely in my packout. Good for fixing the threads on device boxes at trim-out.

If you use klein you know what your getting. Solid tool that does its job right every time, ive used it plenty of times and it hasnt broken yet. it is quite short so it tends to get lost at the bottom of a pouch, but you arent using every day all the time, so it actually kind of helps not getting in the way of other tools

bought for my brother to use for his rewire of his new house. Well we got half way through the house and the tip broke. Pretty disappointed

I've encountered many stripped threads and all I need to do is reach into my tool pouch and re-thread with this tool. However, the blade is very fragile and it broke after only 6 months. It's just as expensive to buy a new blade.
