Love the look of these! Previous owner had used decking boards as balusters, so lots of ugly wood to hide the lake view. When we rebuilt the deck we switched to these, and holy cow, what a difference! Gorgeous deck, gorgeous view now. One warning: we used 300 of these, and I can tell you that mounting 600 plastic ends and then assembling the railing is torturously slow & detailed work. You'll definitely need 3 or more sets of hands to accomplish it, so be prepared. It's not hard, just very slow. But the results speak for themself! Would I do it again? Let's wait a few months while I forget the tedious assembly to answer that, but I'll be sitting on my new deck, loving the beautiful railing & view!

I am a 61 year old woman, retired project manager. I've done small projects around the house all my life, but never attempted a project as big as renovating my deck. I wanted to replace the wood rails / banisters with cedar / aluminum and these balusters were so easy to installed using the Deckorators designer baluster connectors. The hardest part was creating a template to ensure the balusters were equally spaced less than 4" apart, and not right next to a post. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking to give their deck a fresh, new, elegant look!

My summer project was the construction of a HUGH deck in our back yard. I, absolutely, hated the idea of installing cheap, hard to paint, wooden pickets. These aluminum balusters (pickets) were not only quick and easy to install but they look absolutely fantastic. I, also, have the peace of mind of knowing that they will last decades longer than the, wooden, option.

It took me 33 years to get a deck. I designed every detail & my son built it for me. I didn't have a rail on it until I decided on this look. To me, these balusters were the icing on the cake. These were easy to install sturdy & a great value. I bought from Amazon instead of Home Depot. A way better value for the money.

We used these on our new deck. LOVE THEM! Once you determine what you want for spacing, it goes along pretty quickly. Connectors (sold separately) was an exact count of 200 with screws. Easy to install. Wish Amazon also sold the 10 packs. Turns out we needed 107 to complete our deck so had to go elsewhere to buy a 10 pack.

Installation was a breeze, and the look is beautiful. We used with cedar posts, and they look professionally done.
