Davinci Solar Deck Lights - Outdoor Landscape Lighting for Step Patio or Post, Bright Warm White Led, Slate Black (4 Pack)

If you're looking for solar powered lights that give off a gentle light, these are it. These lights have a small solar cell and battery and two LEDs. The LED color is slightly yellow, and on a scale of 1-10 where 1 is almost off and 10 is super bright, these are about 3-4. If you mount these 4 near a walkway, you'll have the area dimly lit, but perfectly safe to walk. They mount easily with 2 screws (supplied). we installed 4 and they all turned on with about a minute of one another, so the quality control is pretty good. One issue with ALL of these lights that have a sliding lens is that the plastic latch that keeps the lens in place is a friction fit. You MAY need a use a clear tape to keep the lense from sliding down (damn you gravity). Lowes has a similar product at 2@$29. This is a much better deal.

I was concerned when I first set them up and 1 did not light up. However, after a day of charging in the sun, it worked fine. I've only had them for 3 days, but they have all lit up every night and give off a good amount of light. I'm ordering 4 more.

I changed out the batteries to some AA 2000mAH rated NiMH and they last a lot longer, and the batteries that ship with these work for awhile, but fail in a couple months or so and won't recharge. Also, one must be careful not to ruin the wiring/LED/circuit board when taking the lens off the change batteries, but it's not a hard operation at all. I like the form factor, and mounted them on steps. Surprisingly they all come on at dusk at almost the same time, all off to all on (about 10 total) within about 5 minutes or so, and they stay on through most of the night. I have had to replace a couple due to being broken by sudden impact of an item falling on it and cracking the solar panel, or bumping it with a mower or yard too. They're only made of plastic, so expect to replace one occasionally. They have two LED's in each, and illuminate the steps adequately. I think it's rated at 5 or 10 lumens? Color temperature is probably around 2300, or a warm color.

After reading other reviews (good and bad), I decide to buy 1 pack of lights to try on my deck as accent lights. I liked that they easily mount over the lip of the railing. This time of year they came on about 8pm, and they were still on the latest I’ve gone to bed, about 3am. A they don’t give off a lot of light, but enough to see the railing and the decking below. After running the 1st set for a couple of days I purchased a second set to finish off the railing and i must say that i am pleased with way they all look at night!UPDATE: Have now had 8 lights running that have been subjected to several torrential rains without incident. Also woke up one morning just before dawn and was pleasantly surprised to see that these lights were still on!

The lights work and are easy to install, they are half the price of similar products in store. I gave it 3 stars because they are poorly built. 2 had the solar panel falling off out of the box and I had to glue them back on.

Loved these. Perfect addition to new stairs on patio. Wanted something solar for ease and use. these provide plenty of light at night to see the steps, yet not intrusive when sitting outside at night. We set them just outside footpath on stairs so they are less likely to be stepped on, but still best light for night time. Easy to attach via two screws and, like that can change the battery without removal (if needed) in the future. great design.

I bought a 10 pack in the winter and installed them this spring. Having purchased Davinci brand over the last 2 years, they have been better than other brands I've tried. This latest 10 pack was a BAD experience. When I removed the protective battery tab, every light came on in full sun. By evening, every battery was completely discharged and no night time light whatsoever. I left them up and had full sun the next day too but this time not one light worked. I've noticed this same 10 pack under Amazon Renewed. It's obvious I'm not the first casualty. Now I'm stuck with them. Huge waste of money. Back to Lowe's.

I've had these lights for a little over eight months now. They are easy to install. Were bright little flood lights that worked well to illuminate a path way to my front door. The light is a very white LED which is not what I prefer because the high color temps cast dark shadows on the path.In the beginning the device charged well throughout the day with bright overhead, unobstructed sun. The battery(?) would last about four or more hours. After about two months or so, the battery started to slowly fail on all of my units. I estimate it took another month or two before they stopped working all together. In summary, the units only last about four months. Now they do nothing.TL/DR: Worked for about two months then failed completely after another two months. Battery/capacitor no longer stores energy and lights do not work after sundown.

Easy to install. They lasted all winter and still work. Better value than at the local stores.

Very disappointed as we no sooner installed them and one of them didn’t work.

These lights are okay. They were bright the first two weeks though dimmer now. The screws that came with the lights were way too small to screw into anything so I had to buy longer screws.
