The best protein powder. Digests quickly and tastes amazing. I usually blend with milk, and frozen bananas or blueberries and it tastes like a chocolate milkshake.

Taste good, mix as well and is a good value

Just received today and mixed with Greek yogurt to give it a try - wonderful - no fake or artificial aftertaste and love there are no artificial sweeteners. Very pleased with the taste and quality and will be ordering other flavors!

I've been using Ascent 100% Whey Protein Powder for a while now, and overall, I really like it. The taste is fantastic – the chocolate flavor is rich and doesn't have that artificial aftertaste you often find with other protein powders. It mixes well too, which is always a plus for a smooth shake after a workout. I appreciate that it's gluten-free and doesn't contain artificial flavors or sweeteners, aligning with my preference for cleaner ingredients. However, I was quite disappointed to discover that the chocolate flavor contains soy. As someone who tries to avoid soy in my diet, I was really hoping this product would be completely free of it, especially given the "clean" ingredient profile advertised. While it's my oversight for not checking the ingredients more thoroughly before purchasing, I wanted to highlight this for others who might also be trying to avoid soy. Especially because some of their other flavors ARE soy free. Despite the soy content in the chocolate, the quality and taste are still top-notch. If soy isn't a concern for you, I highly recommend this protein powder. If it is, you might want to explore their other flavors or carefully check the ingredient list before committing.

I’ve tried a handful of brands, this one is the best. Please don’t ever change the taste, quality, &price. I’ve struggled and spent so much money on trying to find a brand that checks all of the boxes. It’s very affordable. Ascent knows exactly what they are doing. It is very good quality.

I'm impressed with the ingredients, both the types and quantities. Just a handful of ingredients vs. 20+ with other proteins. The product smells like cocoa, a very faint cocoa, but it just smells like a real food. As weird as it probably sounds, I like that it doesn't have sand in it, like most protein mixes. I know the sand used in other protein mixes is safe to consume, but I never really enjoyed the thought that I was drinking sand. I drink this type of stuff for sustenance, so I'm not too picky on the taste, but it actually has a decent taste. With 8 ounces of water, it's too thin to taste like much. 6 ounces of water and you can taste the chocolate a little more, it's good enough, but certainly not great. With 4 ounces of water, it just tastes like a hot chocolate drink that has cooled. This is the first protein powder I've tried where it actually tastes good with just 4 ounces of water. The less liquid I have to drink to get the protein I'm looking for, the happier I am. Others have more sugar or sugar substitute added so that it tastes better based on the 8 ounce standard. This has less sugar and so it can't support that much liquid and still taste good. I don't see it as a problem though because now it's just like a quick shot of chocolate protein and I'm good. Not some drink that I'm trying to choke down. My only complaint is the packaging. I can't stand these bags that some protein manufacturers use. Maybe it's more environmentally friendly, I don't know. I ended up pouring it into a large tupperware type container that's used for storing flour. Protein needs to be shaken up every now and then and it's risky to do so with these types of bags because they are very hard to seal. So put it in a solid contain so you can shake it up without flinging protein dust everywhere. Good stuff though. After 10 years of consuming maybe 30 different brands of protein, I think I've found a good one here.

Unfortunately my package arrived opened. The actual package was open and the powder. This is incredibly frustrating as I live in Australia and it is going to cost $40 to return to the US.

There were patches of red colour liquid stains all over the item. The red liquid is hard to wash and and has stain my hands and furniture
