Works Great
I bought this because i wanted to control my Nvidea Shield and Roku Express 4K + with a universal IR remote that also controls my other devices, seeing this huge instruction booklet with a lot of writing about all kinds of functions scared me a little, however it's really easy to program it, for my Nvidea Shield press D hold set until it blinks - release - enter 04918 DONE! Works like a charm :)

Works great on my Nvidia Shield Pros
I bought two of these for my Nvidia Shield Pros (2017 and 2019 versions) and they work great with the Interset universal remote. There's a tiny bit of a lag, but it's not terrible. Overall, I'm happy with it.

Worked on Shield Pro
When using this on a Harmony 650 and a Shield Pro make sure you choose the correct device. NVIDIA SHIELD TVDo not choose the one with "pro" in the name. That device profile will not work.

High expectations - high disappointment
I really wanted this product to permit my Harmony remote to control my Fire TV Stick 4K Max. Unfortunately, it does not work at all. There is virtually no tech support, simply questions and answers on the Inteset web page. Most of the questions involved the same problem as mine which only reinforced my opinion that it does not work in all cases. I programmed my Harmony as an XBOX 360 controller as suggested on the website (there are no instructions) and all it did was make the blue light go on (IR is being received) and hang. Back it goes.

Works on Fire TV Stick 4K With Harmony 650
It Works!I purchased this with the matching splitter. The connections took a few seconds. I fired up the TV and Boom --- my Harmony 650 remote controlled my Amazon Fire TV stick. The device on the Harmony 650 was set up as a Microsoft Xbox 360, just as recommended by the manufacturer. I had to play around with the key mappings, but no biggie. I have done that with every other device.Money Well Spent. Here's some help. A few keys aren't intuitive to mapMenu: Xbox GuideBack: Live TVRewind and FastForward are as you would expectSkipBack and SkipForward don't do anythingI have no mapping for the button with the 3 lines. I never use it on the Fire remote so I don't care about the Harmony 650.

Works, don't expect it to mimic FireStick commands exactly with a harmony 650
There are some hiccups, some of which I can probably work out with some button remapping. It does work, but using the Xbox 360 , or elite doesn't give me everything as on the Firestick 4K remote. Most notably is the pause , play functions in certain apps, especially Hulu live TV. That being said It does decent. I use the harmony to bounce between air and the firestick, I do not use cable. but have streaming live tv from Hulu. I do find it lags a bit in comparison to the Firestick remote, but not much.My arrangement .. older Samsung 46 inch LCD TV (c600) , Yamaha sound bar (YA 207), Firestick 4K.

Kinda works somewhat
I bought this to enable a Firestick to support an IR remote. The first setup I got did not work at all. I bought another Y cable and it works somewhat. The challenge is the solution is slow to the point of being largely useless. So this is essentially a fail. I'll play with it some more, but I'm very disappointed. The support for Inteset is non-existent. Buy all this and you are on your own.

This device is recognized as a HID, not MCE IR device
Just to help others who are looking for an actual IR receiver (such as an MCE IR device), this is not it. This device identifies as a USB HID device (i.e. it looks to the system like its a keyboard). This is great if your remote control is recognized by the device and translates the remote's IR codes to keyboard codes. It is not so great if you were looking for a device that operates at a lower level and works with, for example the Linux IR drivers.
