I use this with my iphone and a digizoid ZO 2 personal subwoofer and it sounds fantastic. The size fits my Lifeproof waterproof case, which is not the case with the FiiO L11 line out (that one is just a hair too thick to use with the lifeproof case). So if you want to use a line out device, and have a very tight cable opening in your case, this is the one to go with!

Arrived quickly and works good so far! Works with the older ipods. One end of the cable connects to a 30-Pin insert (IPod 4 gen and older) to an Aux line out.

Basically it plugs into your charger port on the Ipod, then sends the signal over a mini-plug jack to your Auxilary input in your car(if available). The output will overwhelm cheaper car stereos, however, if you have a nice amplified system with strong speakers, you will be fine. Otherwise, you might have some overdrive distortion.The product seems to be shielded welll and the volume output is unaffected by the volume dial on the Ipod. The volume is only controllable by the car stereo volume or amp.Thanks!

Inconsistent function

Works great for my iPod classic. Clear unaltered digital signal. I use it in my 2013 Dodge Caravan as I do t have a USB input but a MP3 aux. jack.

Am trying to use my latest generation iPod classic with the UE Boom speaker, and the sound comes out intermittently. The headpin is also a bit too tight (unlike Apple’s).

After six weeks of consistent use it stopped working. Not sure what happened there but the wire had been plugged into the same spot in my car and hadn't moved. Disappointing.
