Overall good pocket guide but note error
NOTE! Hand screening error! Sign of Benediction listed us ulnar nerve WRONG; it should be a median nerve problem.Like the comprehensive approach of total body. Totable easy access. I added sticky tabs for sections I use most.Color is great. Graphics, real photos! Tables charts.I don't know how to keep something like this small enough to carry around, yet have photos large enough to include print too. I would like larger photos but I know that authors cannot fulfill everyone's wishes.I recommend this for therapists OTs PTs and UE specialists such as hand therapists, CHTs, therapists in Neuro.I added it to my hand therapist/OT collection and recommended it to my colleagues.Patients like to SEE the images too!

Must buy if you are in physical medicine
As a Chiropractic doctor, it has everything I need. It's great for a reminder or refresher on what orthopedic test to perform, what cluster of tests will give you the objective validation you need for your next clinical steps and even give you an overview of the anatomy of the area. I especially love that they split the tests into areas like shoulder, knee, etc. making it easier to get right to the tests you want.I've only had to use it one time to refresh myself on a particular testing area and it was very useful. So, I'll be keeping it in my back pocket just in case.

Very handy!
I really like this quick reference! One issue is there is a page missing and a page that is repeated. (Pages 61 and 62 missing, Pages 59 and 60 are repeated.)

Best quick reference Orthopedic handbook on the market.
I have been a PA for nearly 29 years, vast majority of which has been in Neurosurgery and Pain Management. No, I am not saying that this handbook takes the place of training and experience, but in Pain Management, where we handle a great number of orthopedic patients, the Ortho Notes: Clinical Examination Pocket Guide can be a godsend. I use for quick reference on DDx, specific ortho related examination of knees, shoulders, other joints and the spine et al. Yes, I know that I can AI just about anything on my tablet or cell phone, but the configuration of this handbook with it's tabs makes it easier to find things. Try it, hou will like it.

The letters are tiny but still very readable because of the text style that was chosen and the page itself makes the text readable too I am very pleased with this booklet
This is a very well made pocket guide, concise and comprehensive. The pages are almost indestructible. It seems to be a kind of hybrid between paper and plastic. The spiral binding and the color coded tabs make it even more convenient. All clinicians should have this. The letters are tiny but still very readable because of the text style that was chosen and the page itself makes the text readable too I am very pleased with this booklet. It's well worth the price. Good job!

Great for OTs - handy, detailed, thorough
As an OT student the UE is of particular interest for me, and this handbook delivers. I was pleased with the plethora and detail of the information, particularly the assessments, norms, and palpation techniques. This handbook is small and sturdy, making for a portable quick reference guide to use on the fly in practice or discrete study guide. I can't speak for PTs and other healthcare professionals but I definitely recommend this for OT students, new grads and seasoned professionals alike.
