Evercade VS-R Retro Gaming Console with - Includes 1 controller and Tomb Raider 1, 2, and 3

This was better than expected! The console is well-made and was easy to set up. Having the ability to insert ROM cartridges (I think they are ROMs, but they can be updated), and having the games instantly available is nice. The controller is of good quality and feels good in your hand. Also, the games I have for it (including the pack-in) are the original versions and not some port. So far, I'm enjoying my Retocade.

I'm a classic gaming enthusiast, and I was more excited about the Evercade than I was the PS5 or Switch.This fit the bill, and I could catch up on some of the classics without hooking up the classic hardware.

Since my purchase of this console & 10 game cartridges to test … I have to say that I am having a lot of fun , for a reasonable price 👍I’ve only had two problems so far . One was a bad cartridge ( defective & was replaced ) . Second being that the cartridges are a little finicky ( and tight ) inserting into the console . Don’t know if it is because everything is tight / new … or the way everything is designed . I find the best way to insert the carts is to wiggle them in , with ease , caution & care .Gameplay so far is very enjoyable ! So much , I also purchased a Hyper Mega Tech ! Super Pocket ( for when I’m not home )Hope this reviews helps !

Love this retro console. The plastic does feel a bit cheap but I don’t mind personally. The games play great on it and I have a couple I have tried. There’s even a free to play game I believe every month? But still cool idea. The controller buttons feel a little cheap also but works well enough for its need. The software is basic but functional with different themes you can pick. Also there are secret games you can unlock. Just google the codes and you can get some of them!

Absolutely failed to even see my router even though I had the 2.4ghz activated.After doing some research, I found a reddit post that suggested a factory reset would fix the issue.After it connected, the console updated as it should. It also fixed the issue where left on the d-pad would not work in some of the games. Every other cart I have tried works great now.

As an old school gamer, this system was exactly what I've been needing. It brings back the old feelings of gaming as a kid. This bundle included the first 3 Tomb Raider games. I've purchased additional carts and have been having a blast with it. Recommended for gamers who like older retro games and love to collect physical media.

LET ME START BY SAYING MY ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WITH "EVERCADE" WAS JUST EXTREMLY QUITE LITTERALY COMICALLY BAD.EXPLAIN To ME WHY it WILL NOT CONNECT to the INTERNET IF YOUR INTERNET ROUTER IS OVER 2.4GZ!?!?!?!?!???????You REALIZE THAT IS EVERYONES INTERNET ROUTERS RIGHT??????????NO 1 IS USING 2.4GZ.So you say OK "ILL JUST SET MY INTERNET TEMPORARY IN 2.4GZ MODE For those WITH THE CAPABILITY TO DO SO.STILL WONT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YOU WILL EITHER END UP SEEING YOUR INTERNET WITH A BUNCH OF COMICAL GLITCHING MAKE NO SENSE SYMBOLS NEXT TO IT OR LIKE MY PICTURE HERE YOU WILL SEE NO OPTION NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU RESTART FACTORY RESET IT DOESNT MATTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!IT WILL NOT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PLUS IT IS DAMAGED ON BOTH SIDES OF THE SYSTEM.THE EVERCADE PACKAGING MAKES this APPEAR TO BE IMPOSSIBLE.BUT APPERNTLY IT ISNT 😒😒😒😒😒IT WONT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET.THERE FOR IT WONT UPDATE.THERE FOR A TON OF ITS FEATURES ARE UN ATTAINABLE.THIS ALL MAKES ME REALLY ANGRY.DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE "EVER CADE" COMPANY.INLESS U WISH TO FEEL SCAMMED.CAUSE THATS HOW I FEEL.AN CAN I GET ANOTHER TO TRY AGAIN PERHAPS ITS JUST MINE?????NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THE COMPANY CANT EVEN SUPPLY ITS PRODUCTS TO THE PEOPLE WHO WISH TO BUY THEM AND INLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH EXTREME STRESS JUST DONT EVEN GO DOWN THAT ROAD.NOTHING ELSE TO SAY.THATS MY REVIEW ON "EVERCADE".JUST DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😞
