We have an older Rainbow and the vacuum head was duct taped together. Bought this replacement head and it snapped right on. Works good.

If your current one drops I off the bent pipe left and right, and just puts you in a bad mood, get a new one. These stay on the pipe as intended. They will ALL start to drop off eventually with age and use. It is the least durable part on our E2. The dusting brush bristles wear out, but the tool stays connected. These look great and drop off left and right. Stopping cussing your worn out one and get a fresh one…

My Rainbow is 17 yrs. old & have struggled with the floor brush falling off when turned certain directions! If you have this problem, this revised floor brush is the answer! I was looking to just replace the brush section, when I came across description that said this was redesigned to stay in place. So I decided to go for it, as had nothing to lose with Amazon's free return. Needless to say I am very happy that this floor brush DOES stay on the wand!

Used a rainbow machine for past 30 years w/out any problems arising. Parts are still readily available when required. Although very expensive to purchase in the begining, money well spent. This part eventually wore out inside the connection to hose. Normal service has been resumed.
