Modern design and has all the features I need
This desk lamp with a modern design has all the features that I needed, such as a rotating ft, a charging port, adjustable colour temperature and brightness. The touch-senstitive buttons are easy to use and the build quality is decent. I like the USB port being located at the back of the light so the unit feels cleaner from the front. The light is bright enough to illuminate a large work desk. Overall, this is a good quality versatile lamp that can be used as a work desk light or a bedside lamp.

Affordable contemporary looking desk/table lamp.
The media could not be loaded. The PIKOY lamp has a minimalistic, contemporary look and feel to it, and at its current price of £22.99 with the option to tick a voucher box for 40% off, it's super affordable. The product description states that it has five lighting colours. These are all white colours, from warm to cool white lights, there are no multicolours. It is operated by touch buttons. Tap the big button on the base to switch in on and off. There is a ring of blue light around the button making it easy to find in the dark, a great feature. There are three touch buttons on the top front of the base. The first one switches it between the five white lighting colour modes. As the user taps it, it cycles through the five modes. To adjust the brightness, the user can run their finger along the brightness bar which has a blue indicator light showing the position of the brightness (from low to high). The second button switches the timer on. When on the lamp will switch itself off after 45 minutes. The manual states that when the timer is on it will light up green. My one lights up red, but it's not a problem for me.The third button switches the nightlight on and off. The nightlight is a thin, dim light that comes out of the base, just enough to emit some light to see while keeping the main part of the room dark. The head of the lamp moves up and down and side to side which is really convenient as it can be positioned in any way to suit the user's lighting needs.I've attached a video to this review that gives a quick overview of the lamp. I apologise that it goes out of focus in some parts as my camera isn't the best when working in certain lights, however I hope it provides a quick insight into the lamp and its functions. The build quality is good, and for the price I think it's great value for money.

Excellent lamp with smart design features
This is a really useful and modern looking desk lamp powered from the mains via a 12v wall-wart. Its reminiscent of the old angle-poise lamps but has an LED strip light rather than a bell shaped shade. There's no set-up to speak of, just plug it in and away you go. There's a simple on/off switch and three touch sensitive buttons to adjust various features and a touch sensitive slider that you use to adjust brightness. The buttons, respectively, allow you to adjust colour temperature; activate a 45 minute timer that shuts the light off; and finally, one that turns on a little light in the base that can serve as a night-light.The base is metal and provides a good stable platform for the adjustable bits. These are plastic but look OK with plenty of adjustment to get the light into the right position for you. Build quality is good and all the switches work with a nice gentle touch.Currently priced at £23 it's decent value too.

Great lamp!
When you plug this lamp in, a futuristic ring of white light lights up around the silver power button. This also helps you locate the switch in the dark if you need to. At night this does give off some light so if you want it in your bedroom and need complete darkness, this may be an issue. If however you like having a bit of light, like a nightlight, this may be a positive point. I should also note that the light around the power buton does draw the eye to it a little and can be distracting if you're trying to work on the computer and this ring of light is in your peripheral vision. There are 5 colour modes, from yellow light, through white light and to blue light. I like having this option to choose depending on my mood.In terms of brightness, it goes from very dim to incredibly bright - providing a fantastic amount of light if you want it. The dimmer switch is a futuristic touch-screen slider that works brilliantly. There is an option for a tiny night light that comes from the base of the lamp (with the main top bit staying off). There is also an option to set a timer for the lamp to turn itself off after 45 minutes. You know the timer has been activated because a red light goes on if you've pressed that button. The back of the lamp has a USB output for you to charge your phone or to charge or power any other USB-powered device. The only downside is that the plug's cable is a little short, so your socket will need to be nearby to use this. Or you can buy a power socket extension if prefered.Overall, I think this is a fantastic lamp as long as you don't mind the little ring of light around the power button.
