As a newbie to lino cutting I was advised to get a bench hook. After huffing and puffing about the price I gave in and bought it and glad I did. It fits the pieces of lino i have bought, it has taken some beating from my inexpert cutting and it is still in one piece. The bottom is flimsy but the pieces that matter - the surrounding bits - are sturdy. When I move on to larger pieces of lino I might have to go up a size but at the moment it works for me. It came on time and the packaging was good so no parts damaged or missing.

Well made and useful
This is a very good example of a bench hook. I bought it after a days training in Lino printing. If I had the skill or knew someone who did I might have made one myself but this is a good quality useful example which last and be a good safety measure for a long time.
