I bought this brand of of Jiva Organic chick peas fist time but I have bought their other products before. I soaked them overnight and cooked it on stove top not pressure cooker. It turned out very good. Also I like this brand as they donate to children's Mid-day meal program to feed the children which is great. Each product we buy feed one child which is a great mission. We'll buy it again.Thank you

These are not certified gluten free, according to the company. I went ahead and ordered them before I had heard back from them. It turns out these are packed in a facility that also handles wheat, barely, mustard, peanut oil, and sesame seeds.Th allergen alert is clearly stated on the back panel, but they don't include a photo of it here, or mention it in the description.

These a beautiful Chickpeas. Very large and great tasting. Ever since I read that most non-organic chickpeas have dangerous level of glycosophate, I will only buy organic chickpeas. Same with hummus. I cook them and feed them to my pet chickens and they love them as a treat and they are really good for them Great product

I have previously purchased this product from an Indian store and happy to find it on Amazon at a decent price. They came in excellent condition. The original package is vacuumed which keeps the chickpeas fresh. Definitely will purchase it again!
