Wow what a mini drone. Fairly stable with optical flow and GPS. Nice battery time. Very nice manual and app. It gives you a feel of expensive drone at a price of just 200 AED. Highly recommended.

This is my son's 4th drone and easily his favorite so far. Everything about this drone is great. Battery life is decent, they give you 3 batteries, charge time is a little slow, but if you keep them charged regularly it's not bad. Flight control is fantastic, drone hovers easily in place, despite no GPS. Use the trim controls if it starts to drift. He flies it multiple times a day and so far it's been great. He uses it probably more than most kids. The first one we got, a motor went bad after a few weeks, but they replaced it for free (through Amazon). Great customer service. Quick response. They do sell replacement motors, so worst case we could have got it back up and running again if we couldn't do the return. But the drone is robust. It flies great, is super stable in the air, it's fast in speed mode, has some cool tricks too. Connects to the app with no issues, records video and takes pictures, which are acceptable, not great, but for the kids it's just fine. We have had no issues so far. Love that the battery just slides in and out super easy, no small wires/connectors to mess with (like the Syma one we also have, which my son never flies, even though it was supposed to be better, has worse flight time and never connected to the app correctly). Holystone in my opinion is probably the best of the toy drone market, though they do appear to have some drones that rival DJI, I don't have any experience with them. But I would buy one of the more expensive ones for me, just based on my experience with the Holystone ones we have used. It's smaller than you'd expect, but it perfect for roaming around the house. It can fly outside but winds have to be very light to zero, otherwise you just fight the wind the whole time. But this is a great drone for beginners. My son has been flying drones for a couple of years now so he picked this one up right away with no issues. He loves it though, so I can definitely recommend it. I researched many of the drones in this price point here on Amazon and I think this one is best you can buy. It's usually on sale often and has a coupon so don't forget to clip the coupon and save!

My short review of this drone is it has everything you need to get the real experience of operating a drone and performs beautify. The HS700 is a real treat to fly especially for beginners. I have several drones, mostly hobby grade racing style from 2” - 7” prop sizes. All of which I have built from scratch. They are fast and fun but I only let my sons or myself fly them. Also the hobby drones need a lot of maintenance. The HS700 shines in its ease of use and stable, consistent, and predictable flight qualities. I was out flying it at our local park with my son and we handed the control to a 10-year-old boy who never flow before. The young guy got the hang of it right away. I would never do that with any other drone I own. The folks at HolyStone also include a battery bag for charging. This is more than just a nice touch. It’s the kind of detail a hobbyist knows is an important detail for safely charging Lipo batteries but someone new to the hobby might overlook. Also include are the tools needed to to remove the props and install the landing gear, and a nice notebook with post it tabs and a pen. It’s good practice to make notes on your flights. Again, everything you need to just go fly. I have crashed the HS700 (more than once I’m afraid) and it holds up quite well. I once (okay twice) hit a tree and it fell about 20’ to the ground. After cleaning it up it fly like new. One thing to keep in mind is that after you power it on by inserting the battery and have it paired to the controller, you need to calibrate the drone in order to get it to fly. To do this, place the drone on a flat surface and pull both controller joysticks down and to the left. The lights under the props will blink fast green than alternate yellow and green slowly. Next spin the drone flat about three times until the lights all flash slow green. Lastly point the nose of the drone up and rotate it until the red light are solid in the front and green LEDs are solid in the back. The iOS App is easy to set up and use and the video is clean and very usable for flight but not up to the task of professional cinematography. Flight times are long. I haven’t timed it but it’s several times longer than any of my other drones. They say 20 minutes and I have to believe it’s close to that. This is a great kit at a relatively low price point and I feel it would be wonderful for anyone who want to dip their toes in to the drone hobby.

As a beginner, I found this drone incredibly easy to fly, yet it packs quite a punch with its powerful performance. The controls are intuitive, and it’s been a blast exploring different flight modes. I've never before had a drone, so this was my first. I didn't want to get a cheap mini drone, only to outgrow it in weeks. So I decided to get a quality drone without spending big bucks. The HS700 Ophelia delivered. Opening the box revealed quality and good engineering. Setup and assembly was easy, straightforward, well documented and quick. Flying it was easy once I concentrated on the detailed instructions. The auto liftoff was flawless, and hovering near me was accurate despite gusty breezes. Video quality was good and easily downloadable to my iPhone using the Ophelia App. Overall I am quite pleased. This is a bargain with unexpected high quality. If you want a drone with more than basic features and high quality, I highly recommend the HS700 Ophelia. Update. As I learned how to fly this drone, I crashed it a few times. I guess this is expected. The camera, while it takes good videos and still images, wouldn’t seat the microSD card. After contacting support, they sent me a new camera without a hassle and even though I admitted to crashing a few times. All I can say is they have outstanding customer support. I’d like to give a shoutout to Crystal, who was exceptional. By all means, consider Holy Stone for a drone!
