another great addition to the new Rock Lord-ish transformers
This is another great addition to the new line of armorizer type transformers with a theme reminiscent of the rock lords. The ability to use parts of this figure to armor up other transformers, or create new and interesting figures with other similar figures makes this a joy to play with.

Rock and Roll!
Solid figure with great articulation. I dont know about using him as an armoriOr but as a stand alone throwback to the Rock Lords, this is aweaome. The only thing this figure needs is a good paint wash to bring out those grimy details. Worth the $20.

A pretty cool dude
I picked up Nucleolus primarily because I grew up with hand-me downs of the old Go-bots Rocklords. When I found out Hasbro was reviving the idea for Transformers Legacy, I was pretty excited. I will admit I only really tried armorizing the Deluxe G1 Optimus Prime, and it didn't really work all that well on him. The figure itself is quite good. It has all the standard articulation one would expect from a deluxe Class Transformer. Really the only issues I have with it lie with the transformation instructions. The way they are written makes it seem like the arms are supposed to go further back than they actually can when you try to turn it into a car. I was kind of worried I would break the figure when I followed the instructions. The connection for the head doesn't seem to be entirely symmetrical to me, so there is a little bit more a gap on one side of his body than the other on my copy. The vehicle mode is pretty cool, and only requires minimal parts forming with its weapon. It almost gives me beast wars vibes, since the majority of parts forming on the original beast wars figures involved using weaponry to complete their beast mode. Nucleolus on top of looking cool has the bonus of having a tiny bit of lore attached to it. Not enough to call them a proper character, but they are made out of a material that can make transformers stronger at the cost of their ability to transform. I think it's pretty neat that it can act as a visualization of that on figures with more connection points. Overall I'd recommend Nucleolus if you think it looks cool. I don't think you will be disappointed with it as a figure, I just am uncertain how well it works as an armory.

Cool toy.
Bought this for my son, he loved it but for the size of the toy, it is slightly expensive.

Looks great, alt mode feels a little fiddily tho
The way he looks is amazing, and his vehical and robot look really good and his joints are nice, the only issue I have is that his arms in vehical mode don't stay nearly as well as I would like

Gotta collect em all...
Another recolor of Magneous. Not much to be said, everything is pretty much the same as all the other armorizers, still, the colors on this guy is pretty good.
