My daughter has to patch her right eye often, she was fed up with the typical sticky eyepatches.. so when I saw these and that were different I bought them right away. She says she enjoys the way they feel (coldish) and that they are much easier to pull off. They also stay on well too. I’d say the light that comes through is very minimal as well.

Arrived nicely packaged. They fit the eyes nicely and stay on. They feel well made and are very easy to use!

My 2.5-year-old daughter started eye patching therapy 7 months ago. She initially had to wear it 4-6 hours/day, but at her last check-up, her eye doc said we could cut down to 2-3 hours/day. Overall, it was great news because it meant her eyes were improving. Financially, it still meant having to buy and use the same amount of eye patches since she still had to wear one a day.When I came across these reusable hydrogel eye patches by Medagel, I was excited to try them out with my daughter. The box advises against using a single patch for more than 3 applications, however, we couldn't even successfully use it once. These are like beauty under eye patches (for hydration and to get rid of bags and/or puffiness) but a little stickier. After I applied it, the edges started to peel up immediately, then my daughter easily pulled it off. She then proceeded to use it as a bandaid on different parts of her body. It stuck each time she moved it but not well. So the claims that these eye patches are painless and repositionable are absolutely valid :D (even the blackout portion is repositionable.) They just don't work as well as intended.I really wanted these to work for us. They could potentially work for older children that are more compliant and wouldn't tear it off. However, I'm not positive the eye patch would stay in place for very long. I'm giving this product 3 stars, along with the benefit of the doubt, because I think it's a good idea and might work for some people. They just did not work out for us, and I do not recommend them for toddlers.

Great concept, but not sticky enough to stay put. infant ripped it right off. very expensive to throw away after less than 3 mins of wear. I tried multiple times to no avail. terrible adhesive properties. sent back.

These have come in so handy when the kids are playing in the woods building forts and get an eye scratch by a piece of brush. It feels so much more comforting having something cover the eye so it doesn't have to blink. Of corse if they don't feel much better take them right to the eye dr! I will admit I have used these myself and love them.

I washed the eye area with soap and water, per instructions and let it dry. I applied a patch and it almost fell off. I kept pressing around and put glasses on, but it would not stick. The box says it can be repositioned, which seems like that might be the problem, they barely sit on the eye area where you put them. They are very large for a child’s eye patch, almost too big for me, I have a corneal abrasion so I was hoping I could use them. They are cute and made well, I just wish they would stick, completely useless unless I use surgical tape over them.

These are a must for anyone that has little ones needing to wear an eye patch. And as a bonus they have fun designs on them that kids will love. This made wearing patches easier for my son as he enjoyed picking out which pattern he wanted to wear.

I was so glad I had these when my son scratched his cornea. They are individually wrapped so they remain sanitary and are perfect for travel. They stayed on well, didn't cause any irritation, and didn't tear the skin when removed. They do feel a little goopy on the inside but the extra moisture it provided was beneficial. They are repositionable so they probably wouldn't stay on a younger child very well if they rub their face, fidget, or are highly active, but on a mindful tween they worked perfectly. My kid scratched his cornea in the evening and having these patches helped relive the discomfort until we could see an eye doctor. I would recommend to a friend.
