DC 12V Wired Mini Sound Light Alarm Horn Siren 120 dB Home Security Sound Alarm System

Wanted to add a couple of sirens to a smart home setup, these powered by a 12V PSU from Amazon work fine.

We can hear it when it goes off as can all our neighbours. Fits nicely inside our small / nest looking alarm box

This is a 12v siren and it is loud. It's very easy to wire up. There's only 2 wires and it's compact enough to be installed on a vehicle or boat. It's definitely louder than a standard horn.This does also have flashing LEDs for when it is triggered which is really good for an intruder alarm or for if you have multiple stations setup.Good quality and value. Works well as a doorbell in a noisy workshop environment. The flashing lights help if you’re wearing ear defenders. Just add the correct voltage, and off it goes.

This is surprisingly small given how loud it is.Installation is a piece of cake - two wires, red to positive, black to negative. I added it to a system that already has a rather weak siren and this has more than doubled the volume of the alarm when triggered.Excellent if you want an extra bit of noise but without needing the space to install something huge..

"Wear ear defenders"This is said only partly in jest. At least, in testing, I was just touching the the bare ends of the wires coming from the siren to the power terminals. I flinched and dropped the wires as the noise hit me.The engine in my boat has four different alarms to signify that something is amiss but they all give out a rather muted noise as well as illuminating a waning light. I'm going to arrange this siren so that whichever alarm might sound it too will go off. Nothing complicated, just some relays in the sensor's circuits. I shall also add a guarded on-off switch as an absolute eardrum preserving necessity.

Dieser kleine Alarm-Generator gibt kein echtes Sirenen-Geräusch von sich, so wie man Sirenen aus dem öffentlichen Raum kennt (also mit auf- und abschwellendem Heul-Geräusch). Es klingt eher wie ein elektronischer Alarm einer modernen Alarmanlage.Die Lautstärke ist beträchtlich. Ohne Ohrenschutz sollte man nicht direkt neben diesem Teil stehen, das ist einfach zu laut. Aber genau dafür ist es ja auch gedacht: Ich werde es wahrscheinlich als Hausalarm nutzen kombiniert mit Rauchmeldern oder ähnlichem.

Pas cher et efficace

Ich habe mittlerweile einige Modelle der immer gleichen Bauform und kann so etwas vergleichen. Diese Sirene hier ist nicht ganz so extrem laut wie eine ähnliche hier auf Amazon. Aber immerhin doch schon so, dass man sie laut im ganzen Haus hört. Was mir an der aber gut gefällt ist das rote Blinklicht.In der Nacht kann man dann auch durch das Blinken zusammen mit dem Lärm für gezielte Aufmerksamkeit sorgen.Das Gerät hat kein CE-Zeichen auf der Verpackung abgedruckt oder am Gerät aufgeklebt. Daher ein Stern Abzug.

💰 Rapport qualité/prix :⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🛠️ Fonctionnel :⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💪 Solidité :⭐⭐⭐Pour mon utilisation je l'ai branché sur un relais connecté + transformateur 12V type Arduino et en cas de déclenchement je peux vous dire que vous ne restez pas à coté !!Idéal pour la dissuasion si caché correctement en extérieur ( abrité ) afin de prévenir les voisins à la moindre tentative d'effraction.La fonction stroboscopique est un peu gadget car ca reste globalement dérisoire, d'autant qu'il n'est pas prévu pour l'extérieur. Vaut mieux prendre un gyrophare ou un autre type de signal visuel.Mais en tout cas très efficace !!

Petite mais puissante, je ne sais pas s'il y a 120db mais les 110db doivent y être.
