I was running two feed lines from my 1/2" water line on the side of my house. Even though I was using 1/2" copper, the flow was just not there. That 1/2" copper line was the first part of the issue; the second part was the valve that controlled this line - it was a "" 1/2" "" valve, but the internal opening was just a fraction of that. I replaced it with one of these valves, and the flow rate increased dramatically. It you have an issue with flow on a 1/2" line, look into one of these full flow valves.

Well made full flow valve, works great, lever is a good length and turns easily.

This is a good valve, easy to operate on/off. I cannot confirm if it's brass, as it has a zinc like coated material.Definitely a full port valve allowing the entire water volume for it's size.

The valve body might be brass or other copper alloy as advertised, but has a zinc color so might be plated. Not sure how galvanic corrosion will play out here, but whatever the case, at least the valve body is not pot metal.

We got this to put on a line near our well where we have a splitter, but the water pressure is too high - so this helps a lot.I’m sure it has better applications, but that’s what we’re using it for and being able to turn the handle to a desire pressure is easy for me.It seems to be very well made, and it doesn’t take a lot of hand strength to turn the valve.Would recommend.
