18 of 20 worked well(reason for 4 stars). One drained too fast, and one drained to the point of just not functional, it would keep water for days in it. Overall they are a life saver for establishing new trees without irrigation.

This slow release tree watering bag can holds 20 gallons of water. The bag’s quality is very good. It’s well made and feel durable. And it’s easy to use. Just wrap the bag around the tree and zip all the way up. The zipper works good. And two side pulling tags help the bag in a good position when putting the water in. Such a smart way to get my tree watered. This way the tree is really get watered. Usually I would water the tree directly from the holes and the water would get everywhere and maybe the tree is not get watered enough. With this slow release water bag allows the water slowly getting into the soil and getting deeper. It really works good I think I gonna need more for my other trees.

These are amazing in theory. One of them worked as advertised. The other took several days to drain completely. Now it doesn't drain at all. Hoping the one we have left will work.

This works great and after filling the bag as full at it would go it seeped into the ground overnight for a good slow watering. The package indicated it would flow out over a 5-8 hour period which it did. This will sure help in keeping new trees watered well until they’re established.

I bought these during a recent heat wave and they have been very helpful. They are a little difficult to get in the perfect place but I am thrilled they are working well so far.

Defective seam caused water to leak out of bag; will be returning

This tree bag worked great until the seam split after two weeks. It kept my baby fig tree alive during the heatwave while we were on vacation. We were so happy with the ease and quality but are now trying to duct tape it so we can still use it.
